I hope SD's case turns up and you have a great time @Allotment Boy. Dublin is a lovely city.

We had a lovely week in Dublin when OH was exhibiting there .., lovely friendly place. Enjoy! And 🤞 for the luggage 🧳

We’ve been hedgehog watching in the garden .., as well as the cat biscuits and a small dish of water , we’ve been putting out a gravel tray full of fresh water near the feeding station each evening  … it’s much appreciated  🦔 🦔 🦔

Night night folks … sleep tight 😴

Morning all. Clear and mild here today. The loads of washing to get done while it’s ok.

We are minding a friend’s letter box while they are visiting their daughter in Melbourne, so will drive over to the other side of the valley between washing loads.  Hubby hasn’t tried to drive with his mixed vision yet, so I’ll be having a rare drive of MY car. 🙄. Someone who will remain unnamed always takes over the driver’s seat. 😉.

Grrr. 🤬. I’d just finished hanging the third load of washing on the line, when it started to sprinkle.   The sky is dark with cloud and it’s really cold. Checked friends letterbox - no
mail, so home again.  Warmed up some left overs from the freezer and flopped on the lounge.

Has anyone noticed how difficult it is to buy things that are NOT made in China nowadays? It used to be Japan, but how things have changed.

I try very hard not to buy things made in China but it's getting increasingly hard. Fortunately I have realised that most "stuff" is actually unnecessary and either do without or buy "preloved".
At least plants are grown in the UK .

    Good morning Forkers!

The temperature has finally dropped and looks to be stable!  20.5°C this morning with an expected high of 28°C this afternoon - which for here, is a summer's day.

The garden needs a desperate weeding but there is a lot of it is paspalum (sticky grass).  I have left it weedy as it retains humidity and gives some shade.

Obviously the drive went well @Pat E and no "back seat driver's" instructions!!  I hope you get your washing dry.  Good luck for the suitcase @Allotment Boy  What a mess it has been this summer for air travel.  And haven't the fare prices rocketed!!  Good show of veggies @Dovefromabove   I made courgette galettes (patties) for dinner last night with tzatziki for dipping, tomato and onion salad.  Excellent!

Enjoy your day..... Après Saint Roch, aiguise ton soc!  After St Roch - sharpen your plough!

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    you’ve had a little ‘adventure’ @Pat E 🚘 😉
I had a somewhat disturbed night due to ‘outside activity’ so feel a bit tired this morning … I’ll explain when I’m downstairs and on my laptop … meanwhile I’m heading for the shower …

Morning all, not got on here for a while, having grandkids regaularly now they live 10 minutes away, going to the beach, swim in the sea yesterday morning.(Mum pregnant, various joint type problems, regular midwife and consultant appointments) Well, according to my PC here, "it's raining now," picture of an umbrella and blue droplets, and is going to carry on for the next 120 minutes, well, I have to tell you folks, it's a wicked fib, it aint raining!!! It IS overcast, but muggy.  Been praying for rain (of course!) but grandkids are coming tomorrow, we have booked into a certain well known chain Hotel, with lovely comfy beds and pillows, for a few days with them, coming back Saturday. Mum and bloke staying here, to dog and garden sit....very much praying she doesn't go into labour!!!

Morning all. Washing is in and the Tumble Dryer is getting a work out. 😒 my little drive went ok, but not looking forward to the drive into town for our Wednesday shopping. He has been told about back seat driving comments. 😁 so should be ok. Until he has the second eye done, it’ll be awkward for him to drive.
