Oh bless little Pippen … I’m sure she’ll do well, but it’ll take time and patience. 🤞
Tennis player Alfie Hewett from Norwich was told that his Perthes condition is improving so much he may not be eligible for Paralympic sport in the future because he doesn’t need a wheelchair much of the time … although he has recently been told he can be in the Paris games.
Night night all … sweet dreams. 😴

I had a cat a time ago with similar problems, but he’d had a car accident, vet removed the ball, I had to keep him comfined for a while, I had a small rabbit hutch for him, he gradually got stronger but it always looked as though his leg was going to poke out of his back, he did make a full recovery but could never jump. I expect they are better at doing these operations now, mine was 1990, I hope your little dog will do well after her operation, I’m sure she will and I will be thinking of her.

Should have said, I have been kicked out of bed again, as I an too hot (always used to be a good thing), so I am next door, with a wet tea towel on my head.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Best wishes for your pup Anna. Sounds complicated.
We are still cold here. I hope we don’t get your summer though later this year. I’m expecting our power bill to be huge since the air con has been used more than usual this winter.
Hubby’s eye seems to be improving and he can see more colours brightly than previously. It’ll be great when the second eye gets done.
I went down to bird feeder to put some seeds in for the parrots and here’s what I discovered behind the Spiraea hedge. 😳. I haven’t seen them for ages.
I’m rather glad to see them. The bulbs were given to me some years ago by a friend who was moving to Victoria, so she’ll be happy to see that they have survived. (Not the jonquils - they were from my mum in Ulladulla).
Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Lovely early spring flowers @Pat E 😊 so glad your hubby’s vision is so improved 😊 My OH is like you @punkdoc … he radiates heat and can be too hot to be near in this weather .., he is sometimes made to abandon ship and sleep next door 😒 The weather app says we have fog but again it is mistaken … we have sunshine and wall to wall blue sky.
15C and climbing.

Well, it's Delhi in a basket here - we had a good dose of rain yesterday evening around 8ish @Busy-Lizzie and @Yviestevie with thunder and lightning - I covered my pumpkins with plastic chairs as hail was a possibility. Picked tomatoes and courgettes and brought in all the tools and cushions and dogs and battened down. On went the aircon. Peaceful night - no more electrical storm. Woke at 6am. 33°C with 94% humidity!! Turned off the aircon and let the dogs out! Whoosh - downtown Delhi on a Saturday night (minus the lovely cooking smells!).
Rain is forecast today for you in the Dordogne area, but the temperatures are pretty warm. However, they will decrease after the rain - hopefully. Here is a photo of the cloud formation as the sun comes up this morning. Billowing skywards and growing bigger by the minute. Now, the blue sky is covered with this cloud formation!
@AnnaB Lots of love for Pippen for next Tuesday. She's young and strong for the op. It will be the aftercare when she starts to feel better and boisterous!!
@punkdoc A favourite here too - Pooh-bear. I have just given my young niece a book I had as a child "The House at Pooh Corner" - a bit "child-worn" but the illustrations are beautiful.
@Pat E Pretty flowers for your husband to appreciate. I remember when my Dad had his cataracts done - he kept saying "The colours, the colours!!" Aircon is more reasonable in summer than in winter. Do you have night rates for your electricity?
@Lizzie27 Yes, it's uncomfortable and painful - not so much at the hip, but where there has been surgery cuts and pulls. Anything that entails cutting the bone is very painful afterwards. I hope he is resting and walking slowly slowly.
Big festivities here being Assumption weekend and the St Roch festival. A flamenco mass is held every year in the Cathedral St Nazaire in Beziers - it is a fine affair and something to witness. The singing is incredible - such energy from these devout gypsy people. On Tuesday 16th, (St Roch) there is to be a procession of horses through the streets of a local village - again the flamenco theme - the horses, riders and carriages go to the church to get blessed by the local priest and the mayor - aperitif drinkies and nibbles afterwards in the park. All in this amazing heat!
Quite an epistle today!! Calls for an expression which doesn't seem to be a good forecast: A la Saint Radegonde, quand l'eau abonde, la misère est dans le monde. Oh dear. Meaning - get the wheat harvested before the annual summer storms. Enjoy your Sunday Tui
