Thanks Dove. I must admit that I was a bit sceptical, but since I don’t read rubbish on the internet, I’d not seen that gossip before and was curious. Ā šŸ™„šŸ˜³Ā

Have a marvellous time and give Luton a wave for me @Allotment Boy … my maternal family used to own hat factories there and gt grandpa was mayor there six times …

Morning all, a cooler morning outside at 20 deg first thing but still hot indoors. Builders are due back tomorrow to make a dusty mess, so I need to get a move on with soup making this morning - pumpkins have been baked hard in the sun, we had some roasted the other evening, they are certainly ready. You have a good haul there Dove, my Haricot Vert have given and tomatoes are mixed, some with sun scorch and some with BER.
Catch up with you all later.

Spitting rain here this morning in East Devon. A lovely temperature too. I’ve put the wheelbarrows right way up in case there is a deluge later. Low cloud and sea mist, but still planning a walk. Just so wonderful to be cooler. Slept like a log from 11pm until 7 am. Fan on high, and tried another rain and thunderstorm video at bedtime. Didn’t seem to work Saturday night, had a disturbed sleep, so jury still out. OH informs me that there is a video of rain falling on a tent! Will bring back happy memories of childhood holidays. Might try that tonight!
Hope all have a good day.

There are holes in the sky, where the rain comes in,
but they're ever so small, that's why rain is so thin.

We have had a micro shower, went out to marvel at it, but it had stopped.

    Love Spike Milligan @punkdoc!
Yesterday was a nothing day - went to lie on the bed to read, fell asleep for pretty much the whole of the afternoon.
Cooler today.Ā  Brushed against the lower branches of my pittosporum tree as I was watering the plants underneath it. There were ants there so tickliness ensued afterwards.
Gorgeous veg @Dovefromabove!Ā  My climbing French bean is now at the top of the bean frame and flowering.Ā  It is the only one that bothered to come up.Ā  But I made a good job of the bean frame and even though it remains bare it is still attractive.Ā  Is there anything I could sow now to climb up it for later in the year?
Have fab holiday @Allotment Boy and hopefully not too many travel hassles.
