A very good morning everybody. I still haven't had the results of my blood test but today is the last day of having to take my blood pressure twice a day for seven days. This has been an interesting activity - requested by the practice nurse as apparently my BP on the day was "above target" whatever that means. I have never had the same reading twice and as I have no idea what my 'target' is I will just let them figure it all out when I drop the readings off tomorrow morning. Having my hair done today at Bestie's so am looking forward to that.

Morning everyone, have been awake since just after 5. Was woken up by storms and pouring rain. The lightning lit up the room and was only seconds away from the thunder. Lasted almost an hour, still pouring with raining but not like earlier, it was like someone had turned the tap full on before. At least the water butts won't be bone dry now. Garden has huge puddles 🤦♀️ Hope you get you get your results soon @Ladybird4 I wonder what your target should be, don't think I've heard that before. OH going to Physio today, think we might have to go by taxi if the weather is still this bad, we'd be soaked before we got to the bus stop. Forecast is for rain and more storms 😱 Need another cup of tea ☕

I keep wishing for one of those storms SGL, but not seen anything like that ever in the 40 years I've lived here. I saw storms like that when on holiday in Austria and they are spectacular.
