Afternoon everyone, goodness it's hot. I've just put some wet cloth things on the line. I put a pr of OH shorts on the line to dry earlier, they were dry 15 mins later 🤣 Apart from that we haven't been in the garden all day. We might go outside after our meal, it's still quite hot at the moment. Great photo @Ladybird4 very busy bees. Ooops your ivy looks like the Day of the Triffids breaking in by the door. @Busy-Lizzie I've recorded escape to the country and place in the sun. Hope it gets cool for you this evening. Will your neighbour water your garden in Norfolk. Hope all your plants are ok. @Songbird-1 glad you had a lovely time with 23 and that he slept reasonably well. @Chivetalking glad son enjoyed his weekend. Hope it wasn't too hot today at work. It’s still 27° I have just watered the pots and that was enough for me.

NDN waters the pots. Gardening lady deals with the rest but she only has use of the water butts which are probably dry by now. The outside tap turns off when the water is turned off and the tap is inside.

Morning all. With all the upstairs windows and doors opened as wide as possible and just a sheet over us we spent a comfortable night. Temp was around 22C all night which was OK. Need to go round close everything down now.
Just having some tea then I'm off to S'bury where I may linger in the air conditioned store. Think I'll treat us to some mini-Magnums😎
Hope it's not too hot at work Chive - at least you're near the sea where it's usually cooler.
Hope Ante isn't working too hard as well.
