Breeze has gone and it's extremely hot here again @Songbird-1 Just looked at barometer in conservatory and it's reading 38° I've been looking for a barometer for the garden on the big River etc. Quite fancy one for outside.
SGL - definitely not Superwoman. It was about 10C cooler in the house than outside and a very effective deterrent to stop me venturing out into the heat and doing bitsa this and bitsa that. I can't stopmyself from seeing little jobs all the time!
Those jobs hang over me like a sword of Damoclese from the beginning of April until they're done so I'm feeling positely giddy that they're out of the way for another year.
Hazel - awning looks good. Hope the carpet laying has gone equally well. NO MORE PAINTING!!! (for a while at least)

Going to a GC on Friday with a friend, will have a look there too. I'd like a decorative one.....I don't want a heavy looking one.....which neither of yours can be, being on the shed and archway. 🤗 Hazel I used to do the hot flat thing a lot in the garden during the summer, but haven't this year. @Topbird still a lot of paperwork finished 😉

@Chivetalking OH didn't do pilates today, he felt too tired after not sleeping well for the last couple of nights and the hear. I'm sure he'll be ok for next week. Thank you for asking.
