4 hours sleep for me - quite probably the only thing that I've got in common with Margaret Thatcher Although that was regarded as an urban myth in some quarters.
Still been busy with the job that won't end. Hence the infrequency of posts on here. Should be down to 1-2 days next week and completely done by the end of the month. That will be 21 wks worked on a 13-week contract
At last that means that I will be able to get a grip of the weeding now. This morning's inspection lap revealed some whoppers that have been making the most of my negligence

Chive, that sounds like the end of term parties we used to have. Somehow the thought of a BBQ in the middle of a heatwave doesn't really work. I pity the poor chefs. In my family - as has been mentioned before - that job belongs to the men who stand around with beers in one hand whilst the other is waved about to emphasize something that is being chatted about, or is armed with a BBQ implement.
Biglad, light at the end of the tunnel time now then. Weeds are easier to deal with once they are large. Thats what I think anyway.

It's very windy and warm morning. I'm enjoying with cup of tea. Today I'm making lunch, so must prepare everything for later. It will be warm enough without cooking.

Then we are going to visit another garden, English owned. I think it's the last one near here that's opening this year.
