A decent amount of rainfall here over the last couple of days as well @Ladybird4 - much needed!
I was out weeding when the milkman delivered just before 6. I don't suppose he bumps into many folk on his round (I suspect he has a 'lie in' on Saturdays as he delivers when it's dark, normally) so was happy to chat.
Loads to do in the garden so don't know where to start. Procrastination may be the order of the day
For those that don't read the Dahlia thread, I'll force this on you Well it makes my world a happier place every time I look at it, anyway.

Morning @Ladybird4@Biglad and all to follow. We have sunshine again. YAY! LB, bet your pleased the bin has been emptied. Lucky they came on a Saturday, perhaps they didn't work Tuesday when it was soooo very hot and they are a bit behind. Gorgeous Dahlia @Biglad stunning colour. Will have to look on Dahlia thread....didn't know there was one. I've tried Dahlias this year, I planted 3..... one got eaten quite early, did peak through again but that got eaten again. Another is growing well, but still no buds yet. And the 3rd got eaten early too but suddenly started growing again and peaked through last Wednesday, at the moment it's about 3 inches high 🤞🤞🤞 I get some blooms. They are all Cafe au lait.

Good morning @Rubee hope you and OH slept well. I've just popped out in the garden, must have rained during the night, the grass is very wet and the shrubs and plants are glistening with rain drops. Looks so pretty. Need another cup of tea ☕

@star gaze lily you could be right about the binmen playing catch up. I love those Café au Lait dahlias and their name very aptly describes the colour of them.
@Rubee, I am happy about the rain but think it is too late for my Katsura tree to re-leaf. It has had several years now of this premature leaf shedding and is a fairly accurate barometer in itself - dropping its leaves to conserve moisture in extreme heat.

I had a decent night. It's only 10am and outside is 31℃. It will bw another hard day. Late afternoon I must go to cottage and water veggies. After that must drive my sister to airport. Three weeks passed so quickly.

I strongly suspect that the labels got mixed up during my first attempt to store tubers in the shed over the winter. Schoolboy error!
My guess is Lubega XL Orange.
