Morning LB and all to follow.
I've never tried Tequila, unless it's been in a drink and I haven't realised 🤣
Little overcast at the moment, but the sun is starting to peek through the clouds.
Are you seeing your family today LB

Good morning SGL. I will be making a visit this morning. It will be quicker than usual because some are in France. Its been raining again here overnight and is dull here but it may get out nicer later on.

Good Morning LB, SGL & Rubee and all to follow, bright & breezy today,
LB Have a lovely visit to your rellies, it will be nice to see those that are there for a catch up, I’ve had a Tequila Sunrise but not this morning 🤪
SGL Hope you both slept well, how is OH feeling after his physio session has it helped?
Rubee Hope you & OH are getting a better nights rest, hope he has got to grips with all the functions on his new Television 😊
Ante I hope your journey to the airport went well yesterday and your sisters flight home left on time,
Hope you are feeling better Hazel,
The plan is to get in the garden today, enjoy your day everyone.

Good afternoon everyone. I think I have had Tequila long ago. I don't think I was overly impressed with it. I need to research how it is made as I know that it is made from Agave plants. I'm just curious as to who originally even thought about making any alcohol drink from all the actual plant materials that are used now.

    Afternonn all.

I had some rest this morning, but I'm still exhausted. I came home at 3am. We left my house at 9 pm to arrived one hour before flight. Then Lufthansa delayed flight three times, amd my sister left airport at 2am. I was with her all time.

Here is still very hot and refreshment will arrive at Tuesday, with some rain. Hope it will proper soak my veggies.

    Afternoon everyone,
LB Hope you have been able to get into the garden this afternoon, how’s your new plant looking?
Rosie Your fresh baked bread always sounds lovely, I can imagine it must smell just as good too 😊
Ante Oh dear that was a late night for you, sorry to hear your sisters flight was delayed it was kind of you to stay with her. Glad you are having a relaxing day, fingers crossed for the rain for your veggies 🤞
I spent sometime in the garden mainly sitting in the shade, breezy but 29° it’s drying things out even more.
Hope you have a nice afternoon.

    Hello all.

I came back from Daughter 2's last night. She'd been to a big open air concert and camped with friends. Nice as it is to see my grandchildren I wish it had been this week as OH is going on Tuesday.

We went to church this morning and the bring and share lunch afterwards. The first church lunch since Covid. The West Dordogne branch of the C of E Chaplaincy is pretty well attended as there are a lot of British people in this area. The Catholics have lent us a village church that they don't use and our church rents a cottage 1st floor with a largish garden very cheaply in the village for meetings and events. There is a village hall, baker and restaurant over the road. They use the village hall for the Christmas Fair and things like barn dances. But everything has been on hold for 2 years. There will be a Summer Fête in the garden in August. I'll be selling raffle tickets.

I've just done some watering of the shady bits. There will be more to do later.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
