I am signing out for tonight. I want to watch the opening of the Commonwealth Games - not the hour's waffle beforehand though. See you all in the morning.

Good morning everyone. What a wonderful opening ceremony last night - not altogether sure that the 'p.s.' by Duran Duran added a great deal to it though. That is when I switched off. For the next 11 days I think it is going to be difficult to get much done but I need to make a quick 'sco dash this morning as I need some things I forgot last Monday - typical!

    Morning everyone,ย
    Thank you @Ladybird4
Hope you get everything you need at the SM, don't forget your list.....and tokens if you have any.
Looks rather overcast this morning and felt a slight chill when I opened the patio doors just now. I closed them again.....for now ๐Ÿ˜‰
Going to the GC this morning for a mooch.ย

Forgot to mention the Gazebo arrived on Tuesday. We tried to erect it yesterday afternoon. Even it being a 'Pop up' type, it was quite hard for us to get the Gazebo up. We got it so far, but it's a very heavy and well built. We folded it back down and put it in the garage. Will have another go later. I've got a feeling we might need the boys to do it for us, in which case we might have to send it back. As if we need them every time to erect and take it down, that's not practical. Such a shame if that's the case.ย

Good Morning LB, SGL & Rubee and all to follow,
LB Hope you manage to get those missed items at the SM especially Lillyโ€™s favourites ๐Ÿ˜Šย
SGL Good to hear that OH got on well with his physio yesterday and has another appointment next week. Shame about the gazebo, as you say if extra help is needed to put it up itโ€™s not ideal, hope you can find a solution. Enjoy a mooch at the GC,ย
Rubee I hope OH is feeling a bit more comfortable and able to get some sleep at night,ย
Ante I was pleased to see you had rain at the cottage and the temperature had dropped to a more comfortable level, I do hope little cat can come home soon,ย
Busy Shifting all those logs sounds very hard work. Hope OH got some good news about the operation with the consultation๐Ÿคž
Yvie Glad you had a lovely holiday despite the weather, it sounded a lot of fun for the boys and a nice break away. Hope they will have a moving date soon,ย
Rosie Your pink roses must be a beautiful sight, hope you get some summer weather soon ๐Ÿ˜Š
Hoping to get into the garden today, have a good day everyone.ย

    Morning all.

There was a mozzie in my bedroom in the night so sleep was disturbed. Son 2 rang on his way to work. So it will be a late start with log stacking and I feel tired and achey. 9.30 here now, 8.30 in UK.

@Chivetalking OH hasn't seen the consultant yet, next week is his appt. He already had the flight booked for his pre op assessment which was cancelled, but he used the ticket for the plane as they are getting expensive now.
