I won the fight with the duvet cover.......king size ๐Ÿ˜ฃย  but having done so, I really don't know why I bothered to change it anyway. The duvet has been folded back at the bottom of the bed all week as it's been so hot and we've just had a sheet over us. What an numpty ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Hazel must have got through to Daniel as her posts have now disappeared. The shame about it is all our PMs have gone too, would have been nice to have been able to keep those.ย

Hi folks,ย  Tired this afternoon after a busy morning in the garden.ย  Lawn mowed and edged.ย  Lots of dead leaves and weed removed and it's all looking much better now.ย  It's been drizzling a bit this afternoon, not enough to make a difference so I'll have to water pots and veg tomorrow.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

@Biglad I know what you mean, I like going to London for the sights, theatre etc, but wouldn't swap for country living, green fields and slower pace of life.

It's very cloudy this afternoon, but still very warm. Perhaps we are going to get the rain that's forecast for tomorrow.

Hi @Yviestevie missed you just now. Can't cut our so called grass, it's not grown from the last cut and so very brown. Weeds seem to grow though ๐Ÿ˜ฃย

Afternoon, son is working on his car round at mums making good use of granddadโ€™s garage again ๐Ÿ˜Š we popped over to see how he was getting on and so far so good ๐Ÿคž He has a friend helping so we didnโ€™t want to cramp his style too much ๐Ÿ˜Žย
SGL It is sad to see Hazel has left the forum, I hope she will be looking in on us when there is a chance to ๐Ÿ™‚ Had to smile at your unnecessary duvet wrangling, but now youโ€™ve got a lovely fresh bed to look forward to later on and if the temperature drops youโ€™ll be ready for it ๐Ÿ˜‰
Yvie Sorry to hear you are still feeling tired, sounds like youโ€™ve had a very productive morning take it easy this afternoon, ย
Hope the weather is being kind to LB at the flower show ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ

Hi @Chivetalking bet your mum enjoys having her Grandson over tinkling with his car at Grandads garage ๐Ÿค— Glad she's coping ok.ย ย
I hope Hazel peeks in on us from time to time too Chive, and hopefully in the near future post again.ย
Can't believe I wasted all that energy changing the cover. I suddenly realised once I'd taken it off. Just thought now it's off I might as well put the fresh one on ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Hope the weather is nice where you are @Ladybird4

@star gaze lily ๐Ÿ˜‚ Duvets are the most unruly things to change arenโ€™t they! Itโ€™s a good workout ๐Ÿ’ช Mum loves to see the garage in use, reminds her of my dad & brother always tinkering away on cars together at the weekend๐Ÿ˜Š How did OH get on with his Pilates session, or was the physio enough for this week?ย

Aww, that's a lovely memory for your mum @Chivetalking ๐Ÿ˜
OH did Zoom Pilatesย  Wednesday and then had physio Thursday morning at the hospital, which isn't too far away. Felt a bit tired when we got back, they gave him a good workout ๐Ÿ˜‚ Going to physio again this coming week. Wednesday is last Zoom Pilates for a few weeks as the lady is going on holiday. But will start again in September.ย

A very good afternoon all. Phew what a great day - it rained nearly all the time - just the fine stuff - but that did not spoil anything for me. I picked up my two friends and then we drove to the Park and Ride - very pleasant. I have a few pictures for you before I make comments on your various posts since this morning.
Astley Hall and Park where the flower show was held. Big renovations are going on.

This was a very cleverly designed living wall.
