Fortunately OH is a little more in charge of the machinery than that! Very pleased with how the 'done' bits look.
I see Southern water are about to introduce a hosepipe ban. It's selfish I know - but I'm glad we're completing this job now.
One thing I'll say about Anglia Water is that they're pretty experienced at dealing with droughts. They rely less on reservoirs and more on aquifers and, fortunately, we had a wet winter 2020 and summer 2021. Next year is looking less rosy. Fingers firmly crossed for a very wet autumn & winter.

I've just watered the pots at the back and the borders at the front with a watering can @Topbird I might use the hose tomorrow, before the ban starts.
