If you are on Facebook, posting on Suttons' page might get a response from them, if that's what you want. Maybe an apology, goodness knows whether it would be sincere or whether they would change anything about how they do business. I don't do Facebook myself but I'm told that companies usually respond if something's posted on their own page.

Personally I have never ordered plants from Suttons or T&M but having read comments on their 'service' many times on this forum I never would.
I have also found that forum members will always give a truthful and unbiased opinion when asked about the reliability, or otherwise, of a mail order company.

Actually if it's a comment on FB the page owner can simply remove it. Farmer Gracy removed a comment of mine when I politely queried why they were publishing new adverts for certain bulbs that had the previous week been removed from my order due to being out of stock (after I was told they'd been dispatched, actually).

Only if you publish it in the "Review" section do the company have to contact Facebook to try to have it removed.

Voting with your feet/wallet is the best way, really.

OP, don't know what you ordered (sorry if you said) but for bedding I'd heartily recommend Brookside Nursery, for perennials Ballyrobert Gardens, for seeds have a look on Amazon, for herbs and salvias Norfolk Herbs and for roses Trevor White or Style Roses.

I no longer have a Facebook account. Facebook is dying a slow death.
I do however have a twitter account with a very large following, along with other social media accounts.

In light of Sutton's dismissive attitude when I confronted them with their lies, for which they had no possible counter, its lead me to use all worth-while platforms available to me.

I genuinely won't rest until I have made such noise, they have no choice but to respond positively. I won't let it rest, I'll grind on for years if I have to. Customers deserve better!

I take time to Champion good companies equally, and for the same reason.

I really hope you're having a great Sunday JennyJ (good Rapper name!!!). All the best!

I have not defended Suttons. I have not posted 'attack messages'. I have politely made my points and you've chosen to be confrontational.

    I entirely disagree.

Oh, thanks for that @WhereAreMySecateurs (fab forum name, by the way :)). I'm not a FB user so obviously not up to speed on how it works.

Thanks for this message. Its all I'm trying to do.

The first response  I got on this thread was that I'm a 'WASTE OF SPACE' for even daring to highlight my bad experience. No comment from that person stating they had even used Suttons themselves. Utterly incredibly really!

Since then, and more so than ever, I'm on a mission to continue highlighting it.

    Thanks again!

I should have had @WhereIsMySuttonsOrder as my user name!

    🤣 See! I can't help myself!  :D

Surely you have made your point now, @wombletid ?
Everyone has got it, to be honest most people on here knew anyway.
The conspiracy theories you are peddling about forum members working for T@M are fairly ridiculous, but I suppose if you want to embarrass yourself carry on until the thread is closed.
