As I said. Your word against theirs. Except they don't get to respond, so it's just your word and we have to take that at face value.
Plants are plants. Not everything that is planted grows to a sellable standard and it's expected that companies have to advertise what they're growing in advance. What do you expect them to do if the plants aren't suitable for sale when expected? It'll be in the T&Cs you agreed to when placing an order.
Personally I like to support my local garden centres. I know that's not possible for everyone but worth a bit of extra time and cost if you can so you can select the plants you want.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

They directly lied about the plants being picked and ready to go. They lied about them being dispatched. They lied about when they were going to be delivered, twice! They even lied saying they HAD been delivered, even though their own customer tracking system showed they had not been.
None of this info was relayed to me. I had to chase numerous times to get the numerous lies from them.
None of that has anything to do with sellable standards, or plants being plants.
First you claim my order may not have even existed, I confirmed GW checked. Now your back up is "Oh well its your word against theirs then" Why are you so eager to find any way to stick up for a private company with numerous excuses?
I shared my experience from a Gardening company, with other gardeners, on a gardening website. Perhaps read some of the other gardeners comments on this thread who have had similar experiences with them. Are we all lying???
@Daniel Haynes it might be useful if you could confirm that the GW team asked Suttons to confirm they agreed this post was correct please.
Please do Daniel. I'm also happy to provide screen shots of the precise order and screen shots of the tracking info. I took these as I still haven't received a refund. I can also provide a screen shot of the relevant part of my bank account which shows the payment to Suttons for the order.
Once again a change of tact from Wild Edges, completely ignoring the substance of my post.
Noticeable he hasn't stated he's used suttons and had a good experience, but just for some entirely unknown reason, getting radomly so involved about a stranger's bad experience with a company apparently he has nothing to do with 🤣
This forum prides itself on fairness and rational discourse. If you just want blind agreement to a grievance then Facebook might be more suited to your needs. Otherwise Suttons have public review options available where they can respond and, aas previously stated, were availble for you to read before placing an order. If you're expecting to demean forum users into agreeing with your viewpoint then I would suggest you're wasting your time but feel free to keep trying.

Perhaps you'd also like to approach Suttons and make them aware of this thread, and see if they wish to engage publicly on here. I will happily show the relevant screenshots in real time conversation with them, for everyone to see, especially the magical disappearing yet dispatched plants, miraculously now cancelled. Perhaps they're floating in a different dimension!

You have provided zero opinion from any experience you've had with them yourself. Zero, Zilch, Nothing! You've simply denied and argued with someone else's actual experience with them, for which you could not possibly have any knowledge of. Nothing fair or rational about that!
Do you just randomly go on other peoples' posts saying "No it's not' 'No that's not the case' 'No that didn't happen like that' when YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY KNOW. You must just do it for the sake of it, as again you have added no experience to the contrary with them yourself, this entire thread. Just randomly denying someone else's experience.
You are trying to demean my post without any reason what-so-ever to doubt me, and now you're crying about me sticking up for it. Tough!
I have obviously left reviews where they can publically respond. They have not. And apparently a medium review score, some positive, some negative, and a Royal Warrant, is suddenly my fault for ordering, but sssshhhh keep ignoring their repeated customer lies, that's fine. But how dare I have the audacity to complain about it and let other gardeners know. Bad, bad me! 🤣🤣🤣
Having posted your reviews and complained on here, with details, can I ask what you hope to gain by repeatedly labouring your point? Are you expecting us all to agree with you that Suttons are awful, when that may not agree with our individual experiences?
What are you expecting or hoping to happen now?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

"Labouring your point" 😂 I'm replying to people on a thread, who are replying to me.....Its literally a forum, silly sausage!
Can I ask, why are you so bothered about a Gardener, letting other gardeners know, about their bad experience with a Gardening Company, on a Gardening forum, but completely cool with a company taking payment for non-existent stock, and repeatedly lying to a customer?
A very peculiar hierarchy of concern!
I'll continue to reply, to replies, on a forum. Thanks all the same.

Regardless of context that comment just oozes fairness and rational discourse.
