Morning everyone, another sunny morning. There's a haze over the fields and end of our garden, I think it's going to be another scorcher. 😎
3rd Poppet and his mummy and daddy came for the day yesterday. Lots of fun in the garden and we went to feed the ducks too. He's a little whirlwind, so much energy πŸ˜‚Β
Must cut the front grass some time today, its shot up again after all that rain Saturday night.Β
Garden bin full to bursting is being collected today.Β
@Chivetalking glad to hear your mum is more comfortable. Has she decided what she would like to do about another operation. Sending her best wishes.
Anyone want another cup of tea β˜• β˜•β˜•β˜•

T'Bird, it must have been nice to have a little bit of respite in the temperatures there and another fascinating day for you. Do bears poop in the woods? It must have been such a thrill to see the footage of the bear and no doubt the wonderful scenery filmed by the photographer. Seeing a pod of Orcas would be a dream come true for me - especially if there were some juveniles in the family group. Their stunning markings are so easily recognised. I remember on a David Attenborough programme when they mentioned that the dorsal fin on a male Orca can be up to 2 metres tall. I just couldn't get my head round that! Also, like in the other whale families, each fin is unique. 'Sigh' can't you just tell I am green with envy here?
Hazel, I am enjoying Sherwood - no spoilers but my brain was going into meltdoiwn last night, trying to assimilate all of last night's episode.
Ante, you can have today's smug face as you see your students for the last time before this holiday coming up. Take it easy earthing up those potatoes. You dont have any need to go to the gym. do you with all the exercise you are getting at the cottage?
    Enjoy your days everyone!

I wasn't well in the night at daughter 1's, fever, cough. Tested positive for Covid. D 1 really worried as her sons' exams are next week.

Handyman rang at midnight. Been a huge hailstorm, road was closed and he fears for my house.

We must go home, OH will drive, I'm not up to it.

Good morning SGL, you weren't there when I posted. I read that your green bin, like Yvie's is full to bursting. After they are emptied today, you can start the refilling!

Well, that was strange. Timed out with Error message 522. I emailed web service team straight away as advised but can only guess it was a minor glitch. Things seem to be back to normal now - fingers crossed and thanks to the IT team who got it all sorted.

Oh my goodness Busy. I am so very sorry to read your post this morning. What an absolute nightmare for you! You must be feeling crushed after the excitement of your trip. Am I right in assuming you mean your house in France? I wasn't altogether sure. Please take care - the both of you - and stay safe,

Morning Hazel, I certainly did. He looked so different in his hippy type appearance. As soon as I saw him I just said 'Banks' in my head. Looking forward to tonight's episode now. Right, garden is calling so I'll see you all later.
