Good morning all 😊 ☕️ and hello to @Pat E 😊 hope you’ve warmed up now … it’s cooler here now … 11C here this morning and not expected to get above 18C all day. We’ve had some rain overnight so the veg patch will be happy … and the blue sky is fading to white in the west. Not sure if that means there’s more rain on its way …
OH will be at work today, so once I’ve done the deadheading and prepped tonight’s supper I’ve got work in the studio and supervising the tennis final to keep me occupied. 😊

    Morning all,

Weather the main talking point here too at the moment, we're officially in a heatwave, it's not dropped below 25° even at night, for days and was 32° by 10am yesterday, hit 39° here, over 40° not far away. Lots of events cancelled, especially things involving children, sports and school trips etc. It's certainly very difficult to work in it. Despite that our concert that was organised lady night was very well attended, the band were great and we at least had a bit of a breeze on the terrace.

It's supposed to be a bit cooler today, 29° but it doesn't feel it, very sticky.

Anyway, must water the garden before the sun comes around to it.

Have a good day all, stay, cool, warm or dry, whatever is required where you are. 😁

I feel for those of you with heat.  I hate it. At least if it is cold, I can always put more clothes on or turn on heaters.
Best wishes for a good day. I dug up some more of the Fartychokes this afternoon. My neighbour is glad to get some. 👏👏. We will drop them in her mail box in the morning for her to find before the mail lady comes after 1pm.

    Morning all.

We had a storm last night with heavy rain so that will save me from having to water the garden before we leave. The car is pretty full, just overnight bags to put in it.

One of @WonkyWomble ‘s customers was throwing out some stuff … she didn’t want some  bulbs so they were passed to me … have a look on Garden Gallery to see what greeted me in the studio this morning ...

    Have a good journey @Busy-Lizzie ... au revoir ... 🤗

Amazing storm last night - the thunder cracks made me jump!  My thoughts turned to all those on Lowestoft beach though, and the organisers of the First Light Festival.  But the garden has had a good old soak now - hurrah!
Still sorting clothes today - another wash on.
Bon voyage @Busy-Lizzie - hope you have a good journey and that Cedric will have his op when you return and all will be well.
