Wish I had had a drink, but my headache is still awful.

Morning all.    Best wishes to everyone. Loved the real estate story.
Hosta, I’ve never seen those birds. well done with the photo and Steephill, the video of birds in the feeder. Lovely to see.
    DD, your energy amazes me.

My sister’s friend hasn’t been found, so I guess one day they’ll find his body and his dog in the bush somewhere. 😢 His age is 86, so you have to wonder why he continued to bushwalk on his own with his dog.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Maybe he was content with the possibility of that outcome @Pat E … his freedom and the open air was worth that much to him. Hopefully those who are left behind can gain comfort knowing that he was doing what he loved.

It’s a lovely morning full of birdsong … and as we woke there was a gt spotted woodpecker kik-kik-ing somewhere nearby.

    Morning all.

How can you take on another restaurant @D0rdogne_Damsel? I thought you were already rushed off your feet?

We are going to visit another walled garden today. We've been before but we like it and it lends mobility scooters.

Morning all. Another glorious morning here. A thorough watering of all my pots is called for in preparation for the rise in temperature over the coming days. Breakfast calling first, catch you later. Best wishes to you all.

Morning everyone,  @AnnaB when it's this hot we water the pots daily and last night we watered the whole garden. I spent most of yesterday's Allotment visit watering too.
Capel Manor today  probably more watering there too😄

Such a heartwarming story @Yviestevie - very happy for your secondborn.  So there is good in the world after all!
@D0rdogne_Damsel - what a challenge!  Take the restaurant, make a fortune, hire a gardener!
Hope the GP can sort something out so you can enjoy your holidays @punkdoc - this has been going on long enough!
Watered the whole garden last night and topped up some of the pots this morning.  But watering with the hose will never be as effective of a proper downfall - when the same amount of time is spent watering the whole garden all at once!
Today is a running-around day - got to get a cheque co-signed then delivered to the chap putting on a children's book event that my bus. assoc. is making a donation to, taking all of the Jubilee Journals to all of the shops that want to sell them (for my historical society - we produced a book of reminiscences members had written over the past 25 years) and tonight we have a post-mortem meeting of The Committee about what we got right and lessons to be learned from the Jubilee.
