Oh joy, not quite sure what I did,Ā but I've banjaxed the little finger on my left hand . Can't hold or grip,. Now I've treated the greenhouse,Ā and repainted the plant stand,Ā for the Auriculas I have a load of pots to move. We keep all the spring bulb pots down behind the greenhouse for the summer.Ā With family coming tomorrow,Ā and the patio to clear &Ā jetwash, it's going to be an "interesting day".Ā
Iām worn out from doing 5 loads of washing and hanging them out. The clothes lines has never so laden. Ā At least it was sunny and not windy today. Hope the weather stays mild overnight so that I can get it all back in tomorrow. Ā
I'm so impressed by your building skills @Lizzie27!
Oh dear @Allotment Boy.Ā Hope you can improvise a way of getting everything done before the family arrives.Ā But it's you they are coming to see, so don't worry if the patio doesn't get done.Ā And if you need the space - they'll give a hand in clearing it.
Our Jubilee festivities begin today with the reading of the Proclamation by the Town Crier, with a specially arranged flypast by a Lancaster!Ā And the church bells will ring out too.Ā It's going to be noisy up in the centre of town.Ā Then tonight everyone is at the castle for a mix of entertainments and the lighting of the beacon.Ā Hopefully it won't be too chilly!Ā At least no rain forecast for today and nice and sunny out there. Would rather be in the garden though.
Hopefully, mine will be all dry tomorrow as well, Dove. I get fed up with it hanging all around the house to finish off, but if itās wet outside, thereās not much choice.Ā
The Depp case has been riding me crazy lately. Every time I turn the Tele on, itās there. Ā I really couldnāt care less about their lives. Ā Iām more interested in what the snow is doing on our ski fields and how cold we are going to be. The ski field resort owners are all clapping their hands about the very good drop theyāve received so far. Thatāll mean more traffic in our town as they pass through on their way up there. Ā Hope they donāt spread viruses here.. Ā thereās lots of talk about our flu season going to be a hum dinger. š¤š
Aww @didyw ... Lancasters are so special to me ... Pa was a rear gunner in Lancasters ... he loved that plane ... son and I took him to Duxford to see the work being done to restore one and we have photos of him with it.Ā Before his squadronĀ switched toĀ Lancasters he flew in Wellingtons .... as he often said, very appropriate for a farmerĀ

I helped blow up balloons at The Home whist Hubby slept.
Or, cutting off the flowers stems as we might say.
