We've had a good afternoon gardening in the sunshine, then we went to the village pub for a beer. About to have slow cooked lamb shoulder with new potatoes and mange tout peas. I love it when the kitchen smells of lamb and mint.

The greenhouse is almost done - all built and the glazing is all done. Even managed to get the roof vents on (with a bit of struggle). I need to make the doors, OH can then fix it down and I can put in the louvre vents and the staging and that's it. It'll need a few paving slabs to make a floor and I'm away  :)@WonkyWomble I won't say we've not a had a cross word - there have been a few - but we've managed not to come to blows

Quite warm here today for a while, but it's gone cool and cloudy again now. Rain on the way, I think.

Roast chicken for dinner and then I'm putting my feet up to watch sewing bee. Hope you've all had a good weekend

Evening all,  Had a lovely day with the family.  We had a BBQ in the garden.  Secondborn took the boys home to bed after having a bath (she only has a shower in her house) We've just arrived home leaving Firstborn and a few of her friends enjoying the hot tub and few G&T's.
    Congratulations @punkdoc

Glad you had a lovely day @Yviestevie, you've had a tough old time of it recently.
I was joking with my daughter the other day that she'd have to come up and have a bath every six weeks as she's only got a shower in her new place and she loves a long soak. She was thinking of a toddlers paddling pool in her back garden for the summer months!

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Keep warm @Pat E 😊
12C and overcast but brightish here … there’s the possibility of rain today … shall I wash the bedlinen 🤔
I need to go up to Notcutt’s and get some compost for the tomatoes and cucumbers … the other important job for today is to make a chicken and mushroom pie for supper …
but at the moment a quiet start to our day with our cuppas … tea for him, coffee for me …

Morning all, I hope you have all had a pleasant WE, and had the weather you needed for the gardens. It's been hot and humid for the last few days but had some rain over night that has cooled things down.
Waiting for DPD to deliver a parcel, it's supposed to be at our local delivery centre.....we shall see! It's a hinged door fly screen which OH will need to put together, it's not just for the flies etc but to keep the neighbours' cats out when the door is open.
    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi all

Really grotty today, so staying in bed, bit of a pain when there is so much to do, and tomorrow is my birthday and we had planned a trip.
