Morning all. Dull and dreary here today, we have had some rain recently but seem to have missed any of the good downpours, so think I may have to water some of my pots where the large canopies have prevented the rain getting through.
Happy Birthday to @PunkDoc, hope your cold is a bit better and that you are enjoying those sausage sandwiches.

Happy Birthday to @punkdoc , I rather agree with @Hostafan1 about the VMH,  AT has one of course so MD will be extra pleased he has one now.
I think we may have had a bit more rain overnight,  note the word bit though.

    Happy Birthday, @punkdoc
Hope you have started to feel better, and able to enjoy your day. If not, postpone the celebrations for a few days, but enjoy the sausage sandwich this morning!

    Morning all.

     to punkdoc.

It rained quite hard last night and the butts have filled quite a bit, not full yet though.

There is another mole in the lawn, new evidence this morning.

I'm taking OH out for lunch today, thought it was my turn to invite him.

Hello all, Happy Birthday @punkdoc, very chilly and raining here today, I may just have to find some socks to put on.
Well, the hinged mosquito door arrived ready to be put together, it was ordered from Germany, now I would have expected the on line instructions of 12 pages to at least have been in other languages apart from German as they sell internationally, but no, so we are in for some fun!!

Oh heck, just had a msg from D who I work with at Capel. He says his wife passed away a few days ago.  I know it was expected,  but the end came rather suddenly.  Bit surprised he says he will be back in this week,  shan't know what to say.

Thank you all for your kind wishes.
    Still in bed feeling dreadful.

So AT got his for being a sycophant.
MD thoroughly deserves his for "popularising horticulture" the RHS's words, not mine.
How can you lie there and think of England

    So sorry you're still poorly.
AT has been in " the industry" since leaving school, amongst other jobs he used to lecture at Kew. Not a job they just hand out willy nilly.
I've never heard AT say something factually incorrect. I've given up watching GW because MD thinks his opinions are FACTS. Not so.
