    I’m feeling a bit unsettled. My daughter rang to say that she’d spent Wednesday in Canberra Hospital with a mini stroke!  She’s been given a range of medication and told to stop smoking!  No surprises there!  I’m feeling a bit nauseous, but I suspect that it’s only shock. She’s only 53, so it’s not expected. She has suffered from Lupus since her teenage years, but manages it well.  Oh well, we will be on the phone more often now.  I try to give her space to get on with her life and it’s always worked in the past. At least she has lots of kind friends who will help her and her son is still living at home so that makes me feel a bit better.

    £100 win on the Premium Bonds which is great plant money, sadly dental bill is going to be double that.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️ a scary warning for your daughter @Pat E … hopefully a good recovery and the turning over of a new leaf health wise 🤞 

    We’ve slept in … I was up late (for me) nattering. Heading for the coast later … fish and chips by the sea appeals … have a good day everyone.

     Thanks guys. I feel a bit better since I’ve had another chat to her.   She has various tests to get through and is waiting for advice on dates etc.

    Had to laugh when she told me her son has decided to lock up her cigarettes and ration them out to her. 😂😂. He’s 22 and a third year apprentice.   👏👏
