Robins are my favourite too @bluebellsintherain I've got my own little Robin living in the garden, he quite often follows me round or sits on the bench. Night night from me too, sleep well everyone.
Arrived home just after 9pm after setting off at 9.30am this morning. R-a-a-f was still too warm after a visit to B&Q to collect paint, perlite, compost and a new light bulb for the front porch (been in the dark there for a few weeks ), Then over to a GC near my sister's where I'd had my eye on some trough planters. Also got some citrus feed (summer), mint and a rather expensive purchase for the new back border. I must be feeling flush as I'm in work . Then to my sister's to drop off paint and compost. She's away so I painted the shed and a couple of fence panels. Wonder how long it takes her to notice that or the pruning that I did Took some documentation to youngest's that she needed for her house purchase before hitting the M62 and fitting the light bulb so that we can now see when coming into the house!
Biglad sounds like you had a long day. I hope you’re rested.
Good morning all. I haven’t peered out yet to see what the weathers doing but quite a cold night. Hazel your hanging basket will look lovely. Alfie’s sprawled on the sofa stretching out. He was having difficulty with his throat early hours but a gentle massage did ease. Time for some tea.
Wotcher Biglad - you just snuckered in this morning. Goodness me but you were a busy bee yesterday. I bet your sister WILL notice.
Good morning RosieBB. Glad you managed to soothe Alfie's throat. Will you be trying your heated mat today?
Ante, I hope today isn't too difficult for you - though it is Monday!
Hazel, moth orchids flower again and again and that is where the patience comes in. The 'sticks' as you call them are where the next lot of flowers come from. Some will turn brown at the top and you just cut the brown bits off close to the next green bud and new flowers will appear. They are pretty bomb proof as long as you don't keep the clear plastic pots inside fancy ceramic pots. The roots need light.

Good morning Ruby. Its horrid here - raining again. I'll have to get the umbrella out for my trip into town but it is also very windy so I just might be doing a Mary Poppins over the roof tops. I hope that you and your OH have a super day - maybe a bit of reminiscing of all your happy times together.
