    Evening All,
LB Nice to have your haircut and coloured today and a nice day with bestie, good news that handy brother is getting his blind fitted tomorrow that is quick service.
Bluebells I’m pleased you got your shopping done without any problems, hope you feel better for the sleep,
Busy Oh my goodness! that is frightening just how close you were to it catching fire, it doesn’t bear thinking about. Fortunate that you have the separate fuse box in the utility room to run some essentials from and they can do the repairs while you are away. I hope you can sleep tonight after this traumatic event,
Rubee You’ve certainly had your share of troubles, I hope that everything is resolved now 🤞
Hazel I’m sorry to hear that your OH has lost another work colleague, it is upsetting as you form a close bond with the people you work with over the years my condolences,
I hope @star gaze lily SGL is ok and has had a good rest today, hope you are feeling better soon,
It’s time for bed, Goodnight everyone.
  • Hazel so sorry to hear oh has lost a work colleague, sad news.  Busy thank goodness you have an alternative supply.  I’m so relieved your okay.  LB you’ll feel good having your hair done and chatting with bestie.  Lily I do hope you sleep well.  Chive wishing you a good day at school tmrw before the weekend.  Goodnight everyone.

    Good morning to all.

My apologies for absence from you last few days. This week just accumulated many chores, and with extra care for Max, I don't have much time. Max is recovering very well, and tomorrow we will visit his doctor.
It's raining again. I managed to plant about eleven kg of my onions last Wednesday. Rest of them must wait weather to improve.

I have my tea now, then school. I hope that I'll have more time to chatt with you.

Busy you get the scream today after your frightening tale about the fuse box. I am so glad that you and the house are safe though.

Hazel I was so sorry to read about another of your OH's colleagues passing away. I think many of us have reached that certain age when these occurrences become more frequent. It certainly makes you aware of your own mortality and the thoughts that we need to seize the day - carpe diem.

Good morning Ante and all to follow. Nice to see you Ante. I guessed that you would be busy at the cottage. Such nice news that Max is improving and I hope that the Vet visit tomorrow finds him well on the way to full recovery.

Hello all … @Busy-Lizzie ((hugs)) thank goodness you were there (and awake) and realised something was wrong and that the electricians came quickly!

    Glad Max is mending 😊
and sorry to hear about sad news for some.  As has been said, were getting  the age where there’s more leaving than arriving. 😞

We’re still waiting for Anglian Water’s emergency plumbers to arrive and fix the horrendous noises in our pipes that’s been happening since they installed a new meter yesterday!  We can’t turn a tap on or flush the loo without the sound of a cow in labour crossed with a brigade of novice bagpipers resounding through the house! 🤯 I was supposed to have heard from them by 9pm last night … but I didn’t … but I do have a job number to quote at them …

Good morning Dove and Chive. Dove, your description of your noisy pipes made me smile. It must be a PITA so hopefully you get it sorted quickly. It is immensely irritating when large companies fail to live up to their promised contact or call backs. How long does it take to make a phone call for heaven's sake?
Chive, it is very sunny here but I'm not altogther convinced there is much warmth in it as yet and I'm playing Canasta with the U3A this afternoon - missed the last session as I was helping handy brother with his move.
