Good Morning Hazel hope the to-do list is not too vast, glad you’ve got some sunshine today,

Sorry LB I hadn’t seen your response to Debs, must refresh the page first 😊

Thank you, it all needs a good sweep and tidy up and then I will see, apparently the sanding was done by two very young men and done quickly. I expect the landlords went for the lowest price but it’s a definite improvement anyway so I must not moan.Β
Sun is shining and my troubles are very minor.

Good morning Hazel. Hope you get your bits and bobs sorted. I'm going to make a quick dash to 'sco. Unfortunately the sun has disappeared now but I'm hoping to get in the garden later.
Tee hee - I do that Chive!

    Morning all.

I think I need another scream.
Last night I found a big puddle of water in the utility room loo. There was a drip from a pipe under the hot water tank. I rang the plumber who actually answered at 10pm. He said he would come at 8am and I should fill some containers with water for this morning then turn the mains water off. I did that and eventually the drip stopped.Β

Plumber didn't come but rang to ask if the drip had stopped with the water off as he had another emergency. He said he or his mate would be here before 11am It's 11.13, starting to panic. Can't do the washing up or have a shower. Flushing loo with bucket from a garden water butt.

    Busy, you definitely deserve this:
October 12 is Intl Moment of Frustration Scream Day In this moment Frustration Lol
What a complete and utter nightmare you are going through at the moment. Chin up Chuck. These things can be remedied but you are probably thinking about your imminent return to Norfolk and wanting your home in France to be safe and sound whilst you are away.

I arrived at 'sco this morning in a snowstorm and the frost warning light was on on the car dashboard. I was not expecting that! The sun has returned but it is very wet and showery - rain now.Β

Thank you for the sympathy and the Scream, a super scream!Β Plumber/electrician has been, it was only a perished washer, I have water back!Β Β They'll deal with the rest of the electric problem and rewiring while I'm away.
