Morning everyone, slept better, but stillĀ feel so very tired and lethargic. Cough seems to have eased a bit.Ā I haven't seen a Dr. for myself for just overĀ 4 years, when I had shingles.
Sorry you had a bad night's sleep @Ladybird4 have an easy day.Ā @Busy-Lizzie safe journey.Ā @debs64 have a lovely evening catching up with your friends.Ā @Chivetalking have a lovely lunch and natter. Lovely catching up with friends. @Ante1 hope Max is feeling better.
Looks chilly outside, but the sun is shining.Ā Have a lovely day everyone.
Chive, at the moment I am cough free (touch wood; everything crossed!) and hope that I haven't put the kiss of death on that! I just woke up about 05:00 and gave up trying to get back to sleep. Hope you have a lovely catch up with the 'Middays'. I bet you will have loads to chat about.
Ante, see you later. Just remember that this time tomorrow it will all be over!
Debs, I am sure that you will have a lovely catch up tonight too.
Ruby, are you hoping to get into your garden again today?
SGL, just spoil yourself today and take things easy too.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Lily OH is due for more injections in May. He is having some good results from them but still a long way to go. Doc said the longer he has had the problem the longer it takes to ease the condition.Take care of yourself and keep warm . LB I still need to fill my little pool .I will do that today.Itās very cold and I donāt want to be outside for long .
Helo all ... glad to hear that some of you are well on the mend, and hope that the others are noticing a little improvement by now ... one step at a time, as long as it's in the right direction.Ā Ā
Two lots of washingĀ are on the line and flapping away so much that the clothes props keep tumbling to the ground ... still, no harm done as the lines are quite high and fairly taut, so even the sheets don't reach the grass.Ā Ā
I was going to sow the tomatoes today, but I've discovered that at the weekend , when OH tidied the bags of compost away for me, he put the bag I need for the seeds right on the bottom and there are some really heavy ones on top ... I could drag them off, but it'd make a mess, and as we're going away next week to his mum's I really don't want to strain my back before that drive.Ā He'll be at home tomorrow for three days, so I've washed the seedtrays and got the propagator ready ... I'll sow them tomorrow.Ā That gives them a week to germinate and grow a little bit so they're big enough to be ok if I switch the propagator off, and just leave them in there, but not so big that they'll need watering while we're away.Ā
Hope you're all having an enjoyable MondayĀ

LB I hope you have chance to rest today and have a more relaxing evening tonight. Ā I hop Lily and Yvie have rested. Ā Chive I hope youāve enjoyed time with your family. Ā Hazel I hope your clemmie will flourish in weeks to come. Ā Still a cool day today. Ā Time for tea. Ā Dove hope your washing dries in the breeze.
Any mention of the dreaded H/WĀ incurs the wrath of Col TT who appears in various guises to fire warning shots across your bows, as Hazel reminded me!
RosieBB I've taken things easy as I said and I've pricked out a lot more seedlings and planted my oak leaf primula and polemonium in the ground. That was a fatal mistake as the clouds immediately gathered and it looks as if there may be some precipitation!
Hazel I have wood pigeons nesting in the Leylandii that belongs to my neighbour and which looms up at the front our two houses. They were collecting nesting material - twigs etc. at the beginning of last month.

Hello all, just finished replacing all the pots in front just need to plant a few bits and put down some more little stones, they seem to disappear. Itās a job for Good Friday I think as I am off all day and weather looks promising.Ā
The landlords have decided we are to have a new boiler. Seems extravagant to me but itās their money. Itās being fitted next Friday. Letās hope it does the trick as hot water supply has been erratic for some time now.Ā
Just off to get ready for my night out.Ā
Wanted to share this photo of Maisieās entry into the ādecorate an eggā competition at school. She won 2nd prize.Ā
