Good morning all. At work ready for a busy day. I am on counter this morning should be fun!
I have treated myself to a nice sandwich and we have hot cross buns and lots of chocolate.
Fiancé only working a few hours so he can pick me up, we need to drop off Easter Eggs for Maisie and George then it’s an evening in front of the tv with wine and pizza. Fiancé did offer to take me out but I am too much of a home body. Prefer to chill in my house or sit in the garden.
@Ladybird4 hope today goes well at the food bank. @Ante1 enjoy your day in the garden that will be me tomorrow.
Everyone have a lovely stress free Maundy Thursday

Morning everyone, We have blue skies and sunshine. A few indoor jobs and then I think I'll sit in the garden with a book.
Thank you @Rubee feeling better, just the a tickly cough now and again. It's left me quite tired though. A horrible bug doing the rounds.
@debs64 hope work isn't too stressful and people are polite. Enjoy your evening, pizza and wine sound perfect.
@Ladybird4 hope all goes well at the food bank.  Hope they get some goodies as well as everyday necessities.
@Ante1 enjoy your day, I'll join you with a cup of tea. ☕☕
    Hi @Dovefromabove 🙋‍♀️ have a good day.
Have a lovely day everyone, hope you have sunshine too 🌞

Morning all. Sounds as though the poorly ones (both human and canine!) are turning a corner, which is good news as we head into the Easter weekend.

It's lovely and sunny here and feels quite mild. We need to sort out some financial stuff from the m/home sale and then decide where we're going to go in Germany in early May. Will be nice to travel again. Apart from that I shall be planting 2 DA roses and moving some smaller plants around.

I want to order 2 clematis and a few more perennials but didn't think this was the best week to do it - don't want the poor plants sitting in a sorting / courier's warehouse over the long weekend. Think Saturday is probably the best day to place the order.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

    Hello all.

The sun is shining. I'm planning a relaxing day, but we may go to the SM. I enjoy looking round in English SMs. So many sweets, biscuits and cake! French ones have much more yoghurt! But less fresh milk.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good Afternoon everyone, what a beautiful day 🌞 the engineer came and has installed a new dish for us, the one we had was at fault so we have our TV service back 👍
Hazel Sorry to hear your son is feeling so poorly at the moment especially with not sleeping well, I hope he soon improves. Pleased your brother is over the worst of it and just needs to get clear, hope the parcel arrives,
Ante You must have been exhausted to sleep all night on the sofa, hope you are feeling ready to do some of the chores and enjoy your first free day,
LB I hope it goes well at the food bank with bestie, it sounds like you’ll both have a busy time,
Rubee Pleased to see you have started with a bright sunny day, hope it has stayed that way,
Debs Look forward to a nice evening with fiancé, another home body here much prefer a quiet night in these days,
SGL It’s a perfect day for sitting and reading in the sunshine, I’m doing the same with a cuppa and thoroughly enjoying it 😊
Topbird Enjoy planning your next holiday, hope you get your DA roses planted out and then can enjoy some of this fine weather,
Busy Hope you find lots of nice treats at the SM 😋
Just noticed some activity around the bee house, the warmth has got them moving 🐝

Afternoon all, I've been out in the garden this morning.  Cut back the winter honeysuckle and pruned hydrangea limelight.  Removed quite a bit of water avens and also removed some out of control ivy growing in my pots.  Still lots to do but it's looking much better out there.  Relaxing with a cuppa now.  There is talk of taking the boys to the Safari Park tomorrow.
Hope everyone is enjoying their day.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • I struggled to get on res, just managed it now.  I hope your all having a good day.  Sorting out some clothes, trying on and putting some in a bag to go to the pod.  It’s been lovely out but not that warm.  Chive I hope mum enjoys her violas they are a lovely plant.  Ante I hope you slept well, you must have worked hard.  LB I hope all going well at the food bank.  I’ve been pottering this afternoon and had some chicken and spicy vegetables for lunch.  It remains sunny and I’m sitting having a cup of tea now.  Enjoy the rest of your day.  Lily I hope you and oh have had a better day.  Hazel I hope the family will feel better in a few days after resting.

    Afternoon all,

Unless someone throws a spanner in the works (entirely possible!), I've got everything done enabling folk to get paid on Tuesday as normal (flaming bank holidays!!!). Probably 4-5 hrs worth of work still to be done to finish the week off but no pressure as long as it gets done by Sunday night. I'll try and get a chunk of it done tonight but I've just had a cheeky hour outside ;)

I've filled a wall planter with some strawberries. I'm intending to hang it on the new fence when I get hold of some hooks that'll do the job. Should look good (without the bricks keeping it upright :D)

Could well be a full day in a warm garden tomorrow but not quite as hot an atmosphere as Madrid last night @Ladybird4 :o Their manager is loco and it seems to be catching!

Good afternoon everyone. I am very tired after a non stop day at the Foodbank. It was very much worth it though. People stopping by to drop off food (over 30Kg of donations which is awesome) and the lovely, grateful recipients. SGL, Bestie and I enjoyed sneaking extra little chocolate eggs and bunnies into the 'orders'. We had a large delivery from our hub that had to be organised by date and then stacked into our cupboards. It is a hard but very rewarding task. When I got home I had received a kind email of thanks from the coordinator. Bestie got one too.
Needless to say my garden is waiting for me to get stuck into it tomorrow (got everything crossed here) as I have some catching up to do.
Debs, do enjoy your chilled out evening - it sounds perfect.
T'Bird, I do hope that you got all the financial stuff out of the way and that you have decided on where in Germany you hope to visit.
Hazel I am sorry to hear that your son is suffering from a bad infection and I do hope that he starts his recovery soon.
Chive, I am glad that you are all reconnected to the TV system again. Its always good when an engineer can get things sorted for you.
Yvie. ivy can be a perfect nuisance when it grows where you don't want it too. My neighbour, whilst building my new fence took down all the ivy that had been planted by their forerunners and which had basically trashed the fence as it grew.
RosieBB, sorry to hear that you had a problem with t'internet again today. At least you finally made it - hoorah!
Biglad, that is a smart wall trough and it will look lovely when all the strawberries are tumbling down from it.
