LB, it's nice surprise that magnolias are flowering. They are such a lovely sight.

Busy, gorgeous photos, love your daffodils.

I'm finished with colouring easter eggs. I do it old fashioned way, with onions peels. Only problem is to find so much onion peels.🤣🤣

Afternoon all. Need to shovel lots of compost around but TBH it’s a bit warm for that so may just do a bit.
Morning enjoyably ‘wasted’ chatting to my brother about family tree stuff & sorting some photos for him.
Lovely to see all the spring flower photos. Here are a couple from me:

The slightly wild (ie not often weeded) ‘woodland’ border and a rich blue colour plant I’ve long since lost the label for:

Lovely pics TBird . All your gardens are way ahead of mine . Well I do live at the highest point in Leeds .This is a pic of one of my planters .Excuse the netting we had a visitor several times .Yet to find out who it was . Made a dreadful mess in the planter .Whatever it was hasn’t been back .

    Afternoon all,

Great to see all your photos today - lovely stuff!

I've just come in from a good stint outside. Got another job done that no-one will notice :D Cleaned out the drain and the grate that receives the waste water from the kitchen sink and the washing machine. The grate was 'minging' (with heaven knows what!) but is over a foot below ground level so unless it starts to smell or gets blocked, nobody else would give it a second thought. It's now good for another year or two ;) hidden away with a cover at ground level, with a plant pot on top of that with planters either side.

Then I finished digging out the bluebells in the border at the front. All the greenery has gone and about 90% of the bulbs below. Put a layer of compost from the dalek on top to bring up the level (and reduce the dalek level from FULL :D ) That's about 12ft x 2-3ft ready for my 2nd attempt at a display of annuals. Think I'll give the cornflowers, zinnia and cosmos another go with a couple of new additions. Might sow tomorrow.

Put some more of the homemade compost around the roses after weeding that area and removing a load of moss.

Although it is currently pretty bare, the front garden is now looking neat and tidy and ready to welcome newcomers :)

Watching the football now but I've got the two planters out of the shed and ready for their second coat later on.

Definitely weather to make the most of today!

Good afternoon all. What a glorious day! I am pooped after my work in the garden. Why does ivy root wrangling and bramble wrangling get harder every year I want to know?
SGL, I know, predictive text can produce some hilarious 'bloopers' Will you be having fun tomorrow hiding all the eggs round the garden for the Easter egg hunt with the poppets?
Nice to see you Janet - you have a lovely Easter too.
Hazel, good news for you. Is it tomorrow you are going visiting your MUm. I hope all is well with you and yours.
Chive, I bet you had a lovely catch up yesterday with your Mum. Enjoy your family evening.
Love your woodland border pics T'Bird. Your blue flower is Lithodora, possibly Heavenly Blue?
Ruby, you might have a rogue squirrel or even an urban fox wreaking havoc in your trough. It still looks very pretty though and that tulip is so elegant. Are the pink pompom type flowers Ranunculus?
Biglad - it was 3-0 to L'Pool when I came in from the garden. Who would have thought it! You have got some good jobs done there too. I always like it when I get my drains clean and sweet smelling. Same with my gutters. Its one job I don't mind doing at all.
