The original telling of the story in The Man Who Never Was (see LB's post) is a very good film. Was slightly worried this might be a direct remake but it wasn't - quite a lot of interesting stuff which couldn't be touched on (Official Secrets Act and all that sort of thing) in the original film. Other stories were also told in a different way and I'm now keen to research if the new film is a true rendition of events.
OH did dinner and now sat in front of the fire with a G&T.

Evening everyone, another beautiful sunny day. Had a lovely day playing in the garden with Poppet3 and his mummy and daddy. He loved finding the little eggs and goodies.
Hope @Songbird-1 is well and her OH too. @Topbird enjoy your G&T but have you had cold weather to be having a fire. @Ladybird4 could you tell me the name of the yellow plant you posted yesterday. I can't remember the name. Wanted to get some more at some point.
SGL - it's not particularly cold but heating oil is so expensive at the moment. With very mild temps during the day we decided to turn the central heating completely off and have a small fire in the evening - just to take the chill off.

SGL. those plants are Erythroniums. Common name is Dog's Tooth Violets. Mine are a type called Pagoda but there is a beautiful pinky purple type I would like to get.
