@Ladybird4 I will be looking for a couple of clematis so thatβs good news. Work not too bad so far, raining here so probably put people off itβs tomorrow when the real fun starts. People donβt realise we are closed on Good Friday.Β
Hi folks,Β Just got back from Merry Hell, rarely go but had to pay a cheque in and it's our nearest branch as they closed the local one a while ago.Β While I was there I picked up a few T shirts from M&S and a dress, which may go back yet.Β Β While I was away I had a delivery of begonia plugs from Fothergills.Β Unfortunately a lot of them were damaged to I've taken a picture and sent them an email.Β Will have to wait and see what they say. Feeling much better since the antibiotics kicked in, although they do tend to make me feel a bit sick. Glad you got all your onions in @Ante1 @debs64 I'm still thinking of getting tickets for Malvern.Β Hope you and OH manage to get through Easter OK you both sound very busy. Hope everyone else is OK.
I am back in Norfolk. Journey was longer than Tom Tom said, queues at the Dartford Tunnel, followed a tractor for miles and Tunbridge Wells was full of roadworks and traffic lights. So good to have a cuddle from OH.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Thank you all for kind words. It was a tiresome job, but it's over for this year.
Hazel, I bet that you would be able to plant at least two rows before falling on the floor. It's only 100 m long field. π
Debs, Good Friday is indeed unusual day for wedding. Hope your fiance will soon be home. Good Friday is only day in Catholic church without mass.
We are back from walk, not too long but everyday Max is better. You will consider me completely mad, but I was convinced that we have school till Friday. I was very surprised when I realised that spring breaks start today.Β
Evening everyone, It's been beautiful here today, we sat in the garden for awhile. Tomorrow is supposed to be another sunny one π€ @Busy-Lizzie sorry you had such a slow journey, but so glad to hear you are now in Norfolk with OH. Have a lovely evening.Β I like Tunbridge Wells, not been for awhile. Nice shops there.....well they did have, some might not be there anymore. Lovely video of Max @Ante1 thank you for sharing. Looks a lovely place to go for a walk. Max looks like he was enjoying being out in the sunshine.Β @Songbird-1 do hope your son and brother are feeling a bit better today. π€ you and OH stay negative.Β @Chivetalking what goodies did you and your mum get today π
Yvie, you had a great shopping day today. I have been waiting weeks for a delivery of plants suitable for my boggy garden. I emailed and had no response from the seller at all so I took it up with the people I paid through and to cut a long story short they have authorised a refund for me. I DID write to say that I would prefer the plants but that didn't appear to be an option. Hey ho. Bet you any money those plants arrive tomorrow.
Busy, it really must be nice to be back in Norfolk. Lots of catching up to do.
Ante what a great surprise for you. Bet you did the happy dance!
Thank you very much for sharing the video of Max. He is still limping but it must be so nice to see him enjoying his little walks.
Chive did your Mum get the bedding plants that she wanted today? Did anything leap into your basket?
Got a message from Bestie today, we are needed earlier at the Foodbank tomorrow as there are only 4 of us on duty. I think we might be in for a hectic day - shades of Debs at the pharmacy!
