    Morning all,

Fell asleep in the comfy armchair again and been awake for a while. More raaf duties shortly. Still testing negative not that anybody is bothered anymore :(

Looks chilly out but destined to be another glorious day. I'd like to think that I'll attempt to replace the leaking pipe (draining the washing machine) this afternoon but the reality may be sport-watching in the comfy armchair ;) The pipe is outside and not a major problem but does need sorting before that area becomes less accessible due to masses of fruit and veg growth!

Good morning Ante and Biglad. Ante, you snuckered in there. Yes, Father Brown is another favourite of mine. Its a delighful programme that I can watch over and over again to help me unwind.
Biglad, I hope that the r-a-a-f today is as uneventful as yesterday and, who knows, but you may be able to get that pipe sorted out.

Good morning Ruby - another one who snuckered in when I wasn't looking. Yes, Ruby, its a great story and since two of the protagonists are called Elizabeth and Joyce it did grip me from the start.

Good morning all. Sunny day here and I can play in the garden all day. Fiancé was home early last night so we got an evening together and I am going to help him do his wedding on Tuesday, I won’t get paid but it’s good fun though tiring and at least we get time together. With my help it’s easier on him too which is good as he is working a lot this month.
Just reading 2nd Thursday murder club book, another one I can recommend.
    Happy Sunday everyone!

    Hello all.

There was a frost this morning. Wasn't forecast. It's sunny now 20°.

I have a lot of packing to do, overnight bag, box of bits for OH, presents for people, Easter eggs for daughter's sons, my tax papers (declarations online in May) etc. Must clean the car. Off to Daughter 1 tomorrow afternoon.

I've been to vote for the next French President. There was a big queue. Tricky moment when they couldn't find my name on the list, woman hadn't looked properly.

    Afternoon everyone,
So sorry but I haven't read back, hope everyone is well.
I've felt quite poorly these last few days with a really awful cold/cough bug. Still coughing, but not quite so much as I was. I sound like I smoke 80 a day and my throat and chest really hurt after so much coughing. I think I've even pulled a muscle in my stomach I've coughed so much. Did do Covid tests several times, but all were negative, does make me wonder if they were right though.  Unfortunately my OH caught it too, but thankfully not as bad and he's feeling much  better today.
Thank you for all your PM messages, so very kind.
Have a lovely Sunday afternoon, we actually have sunshine.  Hope you're all managing to get out in your gardens. Take csre, see you later.
