Phew, thank goodness for that Busy! You must feel very relieved. Back to cunning plan A now then - with the rest being sorted whilst you are in Norfolk.
Hazel, that chest of drawers is sounding beautiful now. You both must be very pleased with your labours.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Afternoon all. Feeling rather dozy in my warm room ligged on the bed with a cuppa after a 2 course lunch. We start lectures again at 4.30. Have been out for a walk round the grounds to get at least a little exercise. Really enjoying the course.
BL - glad the latest problem was easy to solve.
Debs - hope your issues get sorted too🙂
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
T'bird, beautiful photos. I'm glad that you have a nice time.
I'm sorry to read that some of you have really bad weather. Large storm stroke us too, with high wind and hail. I was out just to save my seedlings. It is completely unexpected. Max is recovering very well, and seven more days and he can have a normal, long walks. Only running is forbidden ten more days.
@Topbird looks a lovely place to visit. Every year I promise myself I will do more garden visits but time runs away from me and before I know it another year has passed.
Maybe if I can ever afford to retire I will get my chance.
There are 3 films on at the cinema that I want to see, I will be lucky if I manage one.
Sorry all, fiancé working so much at the moment and the upcoming holiday brings it home that I won’t get to see him or spend time doing stuff I want to do with him, I am very lucky that I have lots of friends and a big family so never need to be lonely but he is my favourite person to be around and I miss him.
Ignore me please I am feeling grumpy because it’s raining now, and my heating still isn’t fixed.
On the bright side the landlords have arranged for the contractors to come back to finish the drive properly and I now have cleaner windows.
Biglad, the weather has been most odd here too but I'm glad to hear that you escaped all the verbals whilst doing your r-a-a-f duty.
T'Bird, thank you so much for brightening up my drismal afternoon with all those beautiful pictures. Stunning! Whilst I am not a big fan of topiary I do have to admire the talents of the people who manage to carry it out so cleverly. They made me think of Monopoly pieces. Do you know by any chance what makes up the archway?
Ante, great news about Max but not such great news about the storm. Seems as though you are having strange weather patterns too.
Debs, there will be special times when you will be able to spend quality time with your fiancé and these times will be when you two can make your own precious memories.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Debs, I hope that you will be able to see at least one movie. I think that you will cherish even more time which you spend with your fiance. But, as you said, you are not lonely and have a nice time with your family and friends.
My neighbour from cottage called, and informed me about blizzard up there. The rest of onions will certainly wait week after Easter to be planted.

Still a strange mix here. Mostly sunshine with occasional black clouds and white stuff

Here are a few photos from around Madingley. Don't think it's too difficult to see why I enjoy coming here!
