    Evening all,

BG engineer arrived about 3.30pm and told me what the problem would be before he set foot in the house :o He went on his way after replacing one of the plastic fittings that he predicted would have 'gone'.

I've had a session out back and removed some hefty roots and the stuff that was holding a border edging in place (I'd previously removed the edging). I'm hoping this will help the 'pond' area drain better whilst landscape guy's drainage should prevent as much accumulating there in the first place.

No work calls or e-mails since about 9 this morning so a pretty successful day, I'd say ;)

    Anyone remember Salt 'n Pepa?

Yes indeed Biglad, I remember them. Do you remember Bowling For Soup?

I think I might ask for a refund on my TV licence. I ask you, pointless minutes of random people pulling balls out of bowls to select which group football teams go into for the World Cup and they can't even get that right!

They could just present the tables after the clubs were chosen though. How it warrants all that time is beyond me. England will lose anyway.

So does mine. He is now watching the under 18's England V Scotland on the computer.

Forgot the draw was happening. They seem to become increasingly likely to get cocked up the more 'advanced' the world gets :open_mouth:

I spoke too soon about the success of today - no more dripping boiler but no hot water :( Should've known it had all gone too smoothly!

Bowling for Soup? @Ladybird4. You're just making them up now :D

Hello all. Greenhouse is here and stored away ready for when fiancé has time to put it together. I am controlling my impatience as well as I can.
My wages were fine in the end as the company had my contracted hours incorrect and we are now on salary so it matters. Bit of a faff but all sorted.
Fiancé has gone off to Bristol for a few days work so keeping as busy as possible.
