Songbird - it was the Brown Moor Caravan Club site - literally 5 mins walk from the main square. Very convenient. It's a lovely little town - I'm sure you have many happy memories. We went to the White Hart Inn for dinner - maybe you know it? It was very good.
Re your clematis. I wonder if you you'd be best popping it back in a pot and giving the roots a couple of months to establish before planting out - especially if you've had problems with clematis before.🙂
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Afternoon, I’ve ground to a halt now getting ready to roost, @star gaze lily I did wonder if that was an April Fool 😂 Hazel I hope the clematis shows willing now it’s in the ground, you can only try. The drawer project sounds like you’re making good progress, will you paint it after the sanding is finished, or use a wood stain? Sorry if you’ve already said.
Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday, have a nice evening everyone.
Good afternoon everyone. I've had another busy day since getting back from seeing the rellies. Pricking out, watering seedlings, tidying up straggly plants. Pleased to say that some of my sweet peas are through already. I spotted that Monty was planting the same variety on GW on Friday. I had a visit from Jack's daughter and she brought me two of her old orchids - to add to my ever expanding collection - 11 at this moment in time. Her children buy her moth orchids for every celebratory occasion, she keeps them until the flowers drop off and then asks me if I want them as she has no idea (or patience) how to look after them. I am just going to have to learn to say 'no'.
Ante - not rain again! That is not good. Have you finished school for Easter or have to got your most unfavourite day again tomorrow.
Chive, I hope that you enjoyed your breakfast and you must have made some plans for your Easter holidays. you will miss the banter with the small people.
Debs, isn't it lovely how every garden seems to have its own little robin. I noticed one at handy brother's last Wednesday. It was perched on the fence looking in at me through the kitchen window. I do hope that Graham the Grump cheers up - I have heard, like you, it is going to get a little warmer this week.
Yvie, I am sorry to hear that you are still blighted with a cold. Sounds like you have got your remedies sorted though.
T'Bird, it must be nice to be back at home after your travels. I remember once going to one of my friend's caravans in Wales when we discovered on arrival that the boiler wasn't working. I slept the first night in all my clothes, coat, bob hat and scarf and I have NEVER had such a miserable time ever! We packed up and left the next day. I have never been there since.
Have you decided yet on which stain for the heritage chest of drawers Hazel?
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Rubee you can move your pillows aside if you wish and have the yoga mat on the bed which then radiates heat and there is an area on the head rest to put a few drops of essential oil. Chive I hope you had a lovely breakfast outing. Top bird I would like to visit Hawes. It’s on the list. I’m glad you’re enjoying your break so refreshing on your travels. Songbird I’ve stayed in a White Hart quite some years ago. It was lovely. Busy I hope the temps warm up soon. Lily I hope you enjoyed your planting recently. I watched Gardeners World with Monty this morning.

LB, we have school next week too, so tomorrow is my favorite working day. Rain stopped but it's very cold. I'm glad that you had a fulfilled day.
Whole Sunday had ups and downs, so I'll retreat for tonight. I didn't have much time for rest afterall.
HAve a nice evening and see you all tomorrow.
