Evening everyone, spent some time tidying the patio this afternoon & decided to remove a leggy lavender, I shall probably plant another one as I love the scent when you brush past it,
Ante I was so sad to read what had happened to poor max, I do hope he is ok and recovers well. Another hug for you, Max and your dad what a shocking thing to happen 🤗
LB That is a lovely picture to start off the new Rez thread with 😊 hope all goes well with the blind man tomorrow at handy brothers,
@Songbird-1 I’m ok thank you Hazel 😊 Shame you couldn’t get another Nelly Moser at this time but the replacement sounds lovely, it was quite a battle to remove the old one let’s hope it shows willing now it’s potted up,
    Debs very funny 😀
@star gaze lily all ok thank you SGL Your GC sounds very good, I’m sure this new Montana plant won’t disappoint, just need some fair weather back to get planting 🙄
Bluebells Those casual trousers are a good idea to protect your legs, I like hydrangeas too hopefully you can get one on the next visit to the SM,
Topbird Your excursion today sounded much more appealing than OHs marathon bike ride, hope you had some tasty treats from the patisserie,
Signing off now, Goodnight everyone hope you sleep well.

    Good morning everyone.
Debs, you are right, I never know quite how to put it when talking about the blind people. That joke is a classic!

  • Good morning all.  The temp has dropped quite considerably.  I haven’t looked out yet to see if there’s snow as forecast.  Chive the smell of lavender is rather lovely.  I’ve just made some tea and having some breakfast.  I hope you are all rested.

Hazel, well done with your clemmie wrangling and I'm glad that you are giving 'Nelly' a second chance. Don't forget when you do get chance to plant your new clematis that the rootball should be about 10cm (4 inches in old money) deeper in the ground than it is in the pot. This encourages the clemmie to produce lots of new shoots from the base and helps protect against clematis wilt. (sorry if you already knew that).
T'Bird I hope you enjoyed your treats, sweats and brain exercises yesterday. I actually got a letter from BG yesterday to say that all the credit from Peoples Energy has been added to my account - no mention of the erroneous transfer to Together Energy but I had an email from THEM to say they are finalising their bills. What a blinking kerfuffle! It has only taken 6 months so far to get this all sorted. I'm exhausted!
Chive, snap, I have a leggy lavender too but have got some young plants from cuttings I took which will replace it.
p.s. forget to say that thanks to a heads up from my Canasta friend I have been able to book my 4th Covid vaccination. No need to wait for a letter, I just went to the NHS website and booked it.

    Morning everyone,
Definitely colder here this morning too. Looks grey and damp outside this morning. It's quite dark too, I've got the lights on in the lounge. Having a cup of tea too @bluebellsintherain I'm snuggled on the sofa.
Think I'll get some toast, see you all later.

Good morning RosieBB - you snuckered in there - and SGL. I had to put my heating on for a boost again this morning - definitely more chilly. I've had my first cup of tea and some toast. I'm ready for the second cup now.
p.s. it is now pouring down!

Hello all … here you all are 😊 still dry here but overcast and considerably cooler ….

I’ve had a quick read back … poor Max! 😢  … otherwise most folk are (sort of) ok … unless I’ve missed something? and house move and shopping trips seem to have had positive results 😊 and the Topbird Two are off on their adventures again 😲 🚴🏼‍♂️🚐  Enjoy you two!

Tennis later today if my knee behaves itself 🤞

Have a good day all 😊

Good morning all. Graham here, dictating to Debs. Would whoever is in charge please sort out the weather? I have had a lovely few days enjoying my new enclosure, I particularly enjoy the water feature and the charming ambience it creates.
Now once again to my chagrin, nay fury, I am confined to the house. I am fuming! I will not eat until I am once more free to go outside.
