With recent news of Oti leaving Strictly, and now the announcement that Aljaz is not returning either, it seemed like a good time to start this year's thread - it gets earlier every year!

    Aljaz leaving too?  I didn't know.  I suppose it makes sense if Janette is no longer dancing in it but evens so.  Sad.

    He always seemed to get on so well with his partners and formed good relationships. He got the British sense of humour as well !

    I was wondering if something was going on as they've usually announced the returning pros by now. It's possible they're also considering what do do regarding Katya and Luba. Depending on how long the situation in Ukraine goes and public sentiment, it's possible that any celebrity paired with them would be at an unfair disadvantage. People have already been giving Katya crap on Instagram 🙁

    It's too difficult for me to choose one favourite dance but this one has always impressed me.

    Terrible combination of dance and music to be given but they really pulled it off.

    I feel sorry for Katya, she had a hard enough time of it before she became an invading nation!
    My favourite would probably have to be Faye Tozer and Giovanni doing the Fosse-influenced dance to "Fever", not least because I developed a massive crush on Faye during that series 🙂

    Saw over the weekend that as the football cup has been moved to winter it was going to affect Strictly!
