I haven't watched the latest episode, but if previous years are anything to go by, calling Motsi's hair 'unusual' will be a masterly piece of understatement.  Most weeks it could have its own show.
  • Definitely an understatement, Motsi's hair looked ridiculous.

I thought her hair looked fabulous ... different folk like different things I suppose.  :)

I thought the wrong two pairs were in the dance off and am sorry that we don't get to see Giovanni being inventive with his choreographies this year.

I thought Motsi's hair was amazing and love the way she shows there's so much more to African hair than an Afro.

Motsis hair is fabulous but is the show about the judges or the dancers?

A lot of folk with African-type hair use augmentation in their hairstyles, from whole wigs to hair pieces, extensions, weaves etc.

Yes they do. My Grand daughter has afro hair she's almost 16 and its the bane of her life! It costs a fortune for my daughter to keep her in fancy weaves every month or two.
But she feels her fellow students at school would laugh at her if she went with natural hair, which she calls her "Frizz bomb" I wish she would give it a chance with lots of conditioner,Im sure it would look pretty curled, instead its being ruined with the tight weaves, and thats what has happened to Motsi, she has very little hair, its all broken off, like her sister Oti.
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.

I think Motsi's hair is the equivalent of Bruno's over exuberance.  It's all about 'Look at me'

I've just read that Shirley is now being accused of sexism because she disagreed with the other judges about who to save.  It is now getting really silly.  Is 2 male, or 2 female, celebs in the dance off sexist?  If both same sex couples were in the dance off would that automatically be homophobic.....  It's just a bl**dy light entertainment programme.
