I couldn't believe what I was seeing Tony was actually dancing Katya has caused a miracle if he keeps that up he may well get to the final, loved watching Ellie and Johannes he was in his element. Not a big fan of the themed episodes I think that trying to keep to the theme fetters the dancing content its a wonder that Craig didn't find fault with Will's stiff leg movements ignoring the fact that he was playing the part of an Egyptian mummy, Craig criticised Tyler but Anton loved his performance strange scoring from all the judges this series I'm sure that sometimes Motsi only gives high scores to annoy Craig.
I wasn't surprised when James & Amy went out this week - the costumes and music they were given didn't do them any favours, but Fleur is definitely the better dancer. The judges decided to ignore - and not even mention - the fall, although they did say both couples first dances were better. Tony looked good in his devil's outfit and it suited the dance and his posture. But he is a terrible dancer; so awkward. You can see him thinking - right, now it's this bit - for each section. No flow. He really should have gone already but the GBP - or Arsenal fans - are keeping him in for the laughs. I love seeing what hair and costumes Motsi turns up in! If she can't be flamboyant on Strictly when can she? I've no problems with the judging panel as they each bring something useful and they do concentrate on the dance. Although sometimes Craig criticises the choreography which has nothing to do with the celeb.
Yes, it was definitely James's time to go. Both James and Fleur seemed very tired and mistake-prone in the dance off, rather than fired up as usually happens. Tony next (though he really has improved, so I'm glad he was given a chance to get to this point and to actually dance). I think we've now reached the point where everyone (Tony excepted) will be a proper loss. I agree that in the main the themed weeks this year seem to have affected the dances and music choices negatively.

Indeed. Let's get back to what the show was intended to be all about - non-dancers managing to become good dancers. With its current production values it seems to be disappearing up it's own bottom.
And as for that Motsi ......

The ‘sub-text’ of Strictly is that it gives ‘minor celebrities’ the chance to add more strings to their bows, develop confidence, coping with the constant ‘live interviews’ etc.
One of those strings is to acquire the skills necessary to go on to appear in musical theatre … an important source of employment for ageing pop stars, and soap stars who’s characters are likely to be written out before too long.
This is why the ‘themed’ weeks are so important … as well as being able to dance the celebs are given the opportunity to show to future casting directors that they can ‘dance in character’. Hugely important.
That’s why so many folk are so eager to take part in Strictly, and it’s the premise on which it operates in order to provide us with entertainment on Saturday evenings.
It’s not all about ‘ballroom dancing’.

Overall I thought this weeks show was better , obviously there are bit you like and bits you don’t
Motsi , her costumes are so over the top but why not it’s a TV show
Craig in drag don’t think I’ve seen that before
It wouldn’t surprise me if Tony make it to the Final
