I agree @Obelixx with both your comments.

I hated the music, noise, that was used for Kym and Graziano's Quickstep.

    I agree @Busy-Lizzie.
When l saw Kym's dress l thought they were going to do an homage to Come Dancing with appropriate music, particularly as they were introduced by Angela Rippon.
"Ballroom Blitz" brings back memories for me, but never in a million years would l associate it with a quickstep, or any other ballroom dance come to that.

I can just imagine the producer's meeting. "Anyone know a piece of music with Ballroom in the title ? Excellent, that'll do".

Apparently Will and Nancy are dancing to "Mama told me not to come" on Saturday . When asked about the connection to Halloween, he replied that they will be dressed as mummies.
Mama = Mummies, do you see ?
I suspect that the meeting was very much the same as the one for last week 😁

Well, at least no one’s done ‘Murder on the Dance Floor’ … yet 😉

Let’s hope Halloween is a better show this Saturday

Agree with Barry Island  , Tony could do well if they keep the Joky element

Some of the music choices are indeed bizarre but a good band/orchestra can do wonders with the underlying rhythm.   I find myself doing Paso Doblé week in week out to Pirates of the Caribbean recorded by specialist dance orchestras for dance schools and soirées.

Unfortunately, Dave Arch's arrangements don't always come up to scratch for the themed nights but Saturday wasn't too bad in the end.

I don't think that Tony will improve much after saying that after the terror he felt in week one he has decided just to have fun, Katya looked apprehensive all night during the show and only relaxed after they got through she must know that having fun won't cut the mustard, even so I still think that Tony will get through for a few weeks yet, still he's not as bad as some that they have had on in the past, Ann Widdecombe, John Sergeant, Nancy Dell'olio, Quentin Willson, some dancers have had to be dragged around the floor at least Tony can perambulate himself from one place to another with a smile on his face.

@barry island , I thought John Sargent was the most amusing and he had the good grace to resign as the GBP kept voting for him , I always wonder if could have won 🏆

Not likely @GWRS.   The GBP does have a habit of recognising when the amusing duffer really does have to go.

Well, l must admit that Tony Adams did a good job, especially when you look back at week one. I think his dancing days are numbered though.

I wasn't surprised to see James and Amy in the dance off, the theme and music had them at a disadvantage from the start, but l was surprised that Ellie S and Nikita weren't there with them. So was Nikita, judging by his reaction when their names were read out first.

I can't really comment on Fleur's dance as the music was such a racket, and it all seemed so frenzied, that l went into the kitchen to make a drink. It obviously didn't go down well with the voting public.

Onwards towards Blackpool (19th November l believe). Will Tony make it to the Tower Ballroom?

As ever, some of the costumes were awful and actively off-putting for the GBP voters.  Some of the music was awful and too contrived.

Tony has indeed done well since his first outing.  The right couple went off I think.
