So many more cases of covid now than there was a few weeks ago.  Sorry that both your hubby and No.1 Grandson have it @Hostafan1.

Hello all, I have been looking in although not posting much. Happy birthday to @didyw how lovely to get a wheelbarrow, I wish my family would buy me practical things for the garden, I always drop hints!
It's been a busy ten days or so with tradespeople in and out doing pipework etc for our new extension. We had our court pleadings the week before last and must wait until the middle of May for results, although we know we have won but getting money out of the b........s is another matter altogether I know how you feel @punkdoc.
It's cold and wet and due to get colder over the weekend, just our luck we emptied our fish pond on Monday to clean....not been done for five years, the fish are in a smaller preformed holding pond which I think will freeze if I don't find the pond heater to plug in again.
Hugs to all, catch up with you later.

I remember winning a court case years ago .. early 80s? ... the bu$$er ran and hid in Spain for  a good while to avoid the baliffs etc ... we never did get the money but the sense of vindication was good.  Googling his name nowadays brings him up as an actor with a cv of bit parts on The Bill, Holby City and Doc Martin .. he now does 'voice coaching' for public speaking.  He was such a poser, always appearing in a different hired sports car, wearing a cravat with a blazer tossed casually over his shoulder, and tossing back his floppy locks ... really patronising to us and the workmen renovating his 'weekend pad in the country' ... you know the sort ... 🙄

That's the trouble @Dovefromabove it's one thing to win a court case it's another to get the money out of the bu$$ers.

The good thing was that he never did get to enjoy his 'country pad' as the building society foreclosed on it  :D  we really enjoyed the schadenfreude whenever we drove past  :D

We are a bit occupied watching Battlebots. Noisy sods, but love it.

Good afternoon all and a Happy Birthday Day to @didyw

Our weather is sunny and very windy - 14°C.   Sorry to hear about your snowy cold weather in Blighty although it is raining and cold up "norf". (in France)

@Hostafan1    I hope your wee grandson bounces back quickly - as young ones often do and that the other members of the family don't get it.

Back from the dermatologist for some laser treatment on my hands -  they are burning, but he has given me cream.  I will spend a good 7 months wearing gloves when I go outside - I do anyway when in the garden but tasks like tying up tomatoes are fiddly with gloves on.

I think my bird family's eggs have hatched - some mighty tweeting and activity going on there.  Bit early, isn't it?

Enjoy the rest of your day.
