Morning all,  we had a blizzard here, just after we got up, but if you looed now, you wouldn't know it had happened.  Hope we don't get more. Glad I decided not to go to Capel today.
    Happy birthday to @didyw.

    Hi all

Lots of snow and plenty of wind, not very nice.
Annoyed this morning, got a date for our court case, but the judge has told us we need a legal report. We had already looked into this and were quoted £2000. This sounds fine as we believe we will win our case, however the ex NDN has several outstanding cases where he has not paid up and I really don’t want to lose even more money.
It just seems the legal system is stacked against you, unless you are very wealthy, or a crook.

    Happy Birthday @didyw

    Happy birthday @didyw

Cold here but sunny and no frost or snow tho we will get some rain later, apparently.  Expecting frosts the next few mornings tho.

Painting skirting boards this morning then off to Les Sables for the weekly shop as Possum needs to go there for some Pôle Emploi session before I would normally get back from my weekly shop in Luçon so we'll kill two birds with one stone as OH has  taken the other car to golf.  That's fine as the complex there includes a parapharmacy that sells the supplements I need for my arthritis.

Have a goo day everyone with no complications from cold or snow.

The snow has disappeared and the wind has got up ... OH had leant a large wooden panel in a corner 'out of the way' ... i.e. in the narrow side passageway ... he's a bit like a dog who thinks because he's hiding his head behind the sofa you can't see his tail wagging at you .. if OH can't see something it's not there ... anyway, the wind keeps blowing the panel against the wall of the house ... I don't want to leave it there because I'm expecting a delivery and if I don't hear the doorbell the postman brings the parcel to the box by the back door ... I think I'll move the bins out and slide it behind them ... we're planning to hire a man with a van to take it and some other detritus to the tip ... but we've not done it yet ...

    Morning all.

They keep changing our weather forecast. Friday's snow is cancelled and so is a lot of the rain for next week. The garden could do with a downpour. I haven't rung OH yet, I wonder if he's had snow, he's not far from Dove.

I'm going to a people from church tea and chat afternoon.

I've bought my ferry ticket to go back to the UK, can't remember if I've said, for the 12th April. Will stay at Daughter 1's in France on the way, then a night with OH's daughter in Eastbourne.

Aw, thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!
Woke up to pics of snow in their garden from my daughter this morning!  Snowing on my birthday!  It has been known!
Off to the big garden centre later. My husband is buying me a wheelbarrow.  I always thought with a garden this size I didn't need one.  But I do.

I expect your OH's weather is similar to ours @Busy-Lizzie ... I know Diss has had snow and sleet.  Now we have really gusty winds swirling around.
Do you know how long you'll be in Norfolk for this time?  Maybe we can meet up for a coffee or a wander around a garden centre (or both) ... we'll be away for a few days from Easter Monday as it's MIL's birthday and we have some more secret gardening planned ... although this time I think she suspects ...  :D

OH says it's bitterly cold @Dovefromabove If he has his op I'll be there for at least 6 weeks after it then we are hoping to drive back to France together for the summer. I know @didyw would like to visit The Old Vicarage Garden, maybe we could do that in May or June? I would be able to meet for a coffee or GC more or less when you like. We can ring each other.

    Good morning all.
I could see on Exmoor in the distance and a car passed with a few centimetres of snow on it, but mercifully none here. The sun is shining, but it's pretty chilly in the wind.
Hubby is back down to 10 stone and sleeping a lot.
Just had a message from No1 Daughter to say the Doc reckons No1 Grandson has covid.
