Glad hubby knew you were there and was happy to see you. Hugs x
Tennis was enjoyable thanks @didyw … I’m not by any means ‘sporty’ (loathed hockey with a passion) but I’ve always enjoyed a social game of tennis … I only had one match tho’ … didn’t want to trigger anything with my knee.
Now I’ve put the filling in tonight’s quiche and it’s baked and cooling. I’ve had a bowl of soup and fed the birds, the kitchen is tidy and I’ve washed salad leaves and herbs … Ill sit and knit for a while …

OH ad I have been to Nantes today to see a man about a new knee and he said Yes! After what I've been told here in the Vendée I'd been expecting to need to persuade him but he's a lovely, practical, sympathetic, Can Do man just like the ones in Belgium who did my neck and new feet.
He'll even do it when I asked so that's May 18 for a scan of the knee for a made-measure prosthetic and a check with the anaesthetist then 4th of July for the op. Brilliant. Fingers crossed nothing goes wrong twixt then and now.
Very dull and grey here and we had drizzle most of the way and a few heavy showers on the way back but it's still and drizabone here and none too warm.
That's a very handsome chap @Hostafan1. Hope you feel better soon @Lizzie27.
Stay safe and warm everyone.

Day off work today but been busy with garden jobs, house jobs, cooking and homework. Just settling down now whilst the veg soup and rhubarb crumble cook through.
Thanks @Obelixx. Very good news about the knee! You will be so relieved when it's usable again, might even dance the can-can!
@didyw, don't worry, I haven't mixed with anyone since the 21st and my garden's big enough not to get up close and personal with any of the neighbours. I'm a big believer in the health benefits of fresh air and sunshine so think being outside will do me good.
We could do with some rain, hopefully it's looking rather murky.
Lovely grass snake, @Hostafan1 How lovely to have your knee all organised, dates and all, @Obelixx Took the dog to the seaside this morning, very sunny despite 12C. Home to watch the tree surgeons taking down a silver birch which had partly blown over in the last storms. Cant believe they were sitting on the grass afterwards, having their tea and cake. The patio is now flooded, and we have had thunder and hailstones. Maybe we will get the snow forecast for tomorrow!
