Thanks for that re-post @Dovefromabove, very sobering reading. I've just ordered more sunflower birdfeed but I think that'll be the last we shall be able to get. A tiny niggle however in the scheme of things. I think we're heading for WW111.

I'd thought of hosting refugees but the situation with DIL staying once a fortnight has put paid to that unfortunately. I'm not sure either whether we could cope.

We've spent most of the day struggling to extract the agapanthus, managed it in the end after an awful lot of hard work. Won't be doing that job again.

    Hugs to @Hostafan1.

    Evening folks.

I hope you’ve all managed to do something pleasant this weekend. Even just spotting a bird, a bud or a some sun.

Have you had your Killing Eve fix @Hostafan1? There are some good podcasts discussing the show (I’m guessing you don’t do podcasts but you might be able to just search on the computer and listen that way).

Had a lovely dog-filled weekend - seen MIL’s puppy, my sister’s new rescue dog and watching Crufts!

Just finished my homework. This week I’ve been looking a personality types and team working. Fun personality quiz link below if you fancy? Your answers suggest which of the four animals you are most like: Golden Retriver, Lion, Otter, Beaver.

Send the black dog to Crufts @Hostafan1 and let the wonderful Clare Balding sort it out. 😉

Didy, yes you’re right. She’s lovely company. We’ve just been out for a morning walk, she’s nibbled a bit of damp grass and then come back inside to do her toilet. 😂. She’s only ever been inside with our son, so she thinks that’s where she should do her job.   I’m told that she spent time sleeping on our feet, but I’m such a heavy sleeper that I didn’t know. 🙄😁

I sat on the veranda with Pixel for a while, but it’s so hot I was getting sunburned on the ankles. I’ve come inside, but it’s freezing in here. Can’t win.

  • Morning @Pat E looks like a racing hare to me.  :)

Icy start here, but sun is arriving now and the next few days are forecast to be nice.

I expect you are right to advise against taking a refugee family, I really do have an already full load to carry, but just seeing them on the TV, it breaks my heart, I just hope governments everywhere make it possible to get the people to safe places as soon as possible.

Lots of spring blooms showing now, at least that's a cheery sight.

Hugs to @Hostafan1, my heart goes out to you too, what a tough time for you both.

To everyone else, hope you have a good day. Catch up later.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
@punkdoc … it seems that steak is mine
    🥩 🦁

in my last job we did the Belbin study of team members and roles  … it transpired that I’m a Plant 🤣 it’s a shame but you can’t get it online without paying. https://www.belbin.com/about/belbin-team-roles

@Pat E I can see a swimmer doing freestyle 🏊‍♀️ (but in the other direction to my little pic).

We have bright sunshine here … and an early start as we need to head to the supermarket for stuff to feed tomorrow’s guests … then the garden tidying begins …
