Not good morning! didyw,ah,yes, wasn't sure what you meant!! Brain not thinking straight, actually now got steam coming out of my ears!!! Have posted on curmudgeons! Enough said. Was going out, now sitting on phone sending screen shots and waiting
I know I have said this before, but I really don't want people to think that I go to war zones to be a hero. I have a very specific set of skills, which I often found I could not use to their full extent in the UK and which brought me a great deal of pleasure and excitement to be able to use elsewhere.
I don't normally post in Forkers but I just wanted to say @punkdoc , the world would be a poorer place without you and people like you. But there does come a stage in life when you have to look after yourself first.

Congratulations on starting your CAB training @chicky - I think those services are going to be needed more than ever as more and more people enter fuel poverty. I would love to have a day out at Sarah Raven's but haven't made it to the Old Vicarage Garden yet and that is relatively near us. Maybe this year? We went for a run out to Southwold yesterday. Who goes to Southwold and doesn't even see the sea? Us! We had a lovely walk across the common to the harbour then back to the town along the coast path - but behind the dunes all the way. Then a gentle stroll around the town where we picked up some handmade pies for supper tonight and even popped into the bookshop.
Can I add, @punkdoc, that I'm immensely glad you've not had much opportunity to use those skills in the UK. That sounds mean but I'm sure you know what I'm trying to say.
Sellotape, yep (with Scotch tape), hoover, yep (with a Henry), 'plasters' not bandaid or elastoplast, but nurofen for ibuprofen. Who's Georgie Fame?

We are just talking about Old Vicarage while Busy-Lizzie is in Norfolk @Nanny Beach, as I am in N. Suffolk so it's not tooo far from me. I'd love to visit Sarah Raven's but too far for me.

Yes, of course @raisingirl
Lovely day here, even taken my 3rd. layer off and it is warm enough to tempt Moira out to help me.

Good luck with the CAB, @chicky, such a worthwhile thing to do.
Didn't we talk about a Forkers visit to The Old Vicarage @didyw? I hope when I'm here.
Now that everything has been postponed again for OH I wish I wasn't going back to France on Saturday, but I have to babysit little grandson in France.
We are going to friends for dinner tonight.
