I've noticed that there's a preponderance of suck  your fillings out toffees or paste fillings.  Nothing recognisable like nuts or proper praline anymore.

No idea what Celebrations are but I did notice the shrinking size of Mars bars in Belgium over the years.

My usual supermarket is refusing to stock Mars products in the animal feed range - Pedigree, Dentastix, Whiskas etc - after Mars put up the prices to what they considered to be an unacceptable level not justified by current events.   We, or our critters, are happy with alternative and cheaper products.

Celebrations are like mini versions of chocolate bars. I'm not really sure what the point of them is though since everyone eats ten at a time so might as well just have a large bar in the first place.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Yes - but the little ones are more fun  ;)
We used to get given those at work occasionally, from customers. I was the only one who ate the Bounties.
It's the same with Q. Street [our favourites] - I let daughter have most of the toffees as she loves them [so do I] but I have all the coconut ones. My dad always loved toffees, so we've inherited that, and Q. Street was a staple of our Christmases, growing up   :)

I was reading this last night having just opened a tin (sorry, plastic thing) of Celebrations, and was ferreting through it  trying to find the Maltesers.

I don't know why, but l seemed to feel like a competitor in the Krypton Factor. I'm sure it's more difficult than it used to be to get through the wrapping to the chocolate delight inside.
I did keep practising though B)

PS I like the Bounty ones. Please don't judge me.

I love Bountys @AnniD. You'd have to fight me for those  :D

They're my favourite too @AnniD. Whereas we used to be able to just unwrap them the sweets are now sealed with a slit in the middle of the wrapper that has to be pulled apart. It's more of a faff because if not pulled gently the choc falls on to the floor, lap, dog's chops etc and dogs aren't supposed to eat chocolate.
And thereby hangs a tale of powdered mustard mixed with water and force fed to Wee Uff! They were expensive Belgium jobs too.

Nobody got me any Ferrero Rocher this year. 😞 But, on the bright side, I didn't get hankies or kitchen equipment either.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one struggling to get the wrappers open. I had a right wrestle with a Bounty yesterday.
We need to move Christmas to the summer. What am I supposed to do with two weeks off when everyone is ill and it's pissing down with rain every day?

You need a new hobby @wild edges. Something that involves going out in the persisting rain. I'll start you off. Find a woodland (that'll keep you dry), walk into the middle and start looking for wood blewits. I'll give you a tenner a kilo for them.
