That's alarming @pansyface I thought disabled people were entitled to more help re their energy costs ?  And not just the cost of a tin of Kitty Cat either.
On a less serious note, according to the science, she would actually retain more heat if Toby could be persuaded to lounge on her head tho.

A classic motorbike dealer (resident in the UK) of my acquaintance was selling a classic bike to someone in the USA.

There was a huge hooha because the buyer was furious that the seller refused to send the motorbike to him ‘by road’.

I was also reading about a guy in New Mexico who was having problems ordering items from another US state.  The person he was speaking to insisted that they only deliver to the USA, and wouldn't be convinced that New Mexico is a US state.
  • Yet another bank closing here. We used to have 6 but now it's 2. I know other areas are worse off but changing again is a faff.

When we were on our round the world adventure back in the early 80s, we opened a cheque account with an American bank in Hawaii.

When we got to California, we had a hell of a job persuading shops there to accept the cheques issued by this bank. 😵‍💫

Pebbledashed celebrities. The perfect way to look like the last Christmas decoration in the shop.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I've rarely had any problems spending Scottish bank notes in England.  The only time there is any query is if staff are new.

My new induction cooker has been connected. I have to admit I'm a bit afraid of it. It's a great black beast that sits glowering at me in the kitchen. It beeps at me  if I poke it. But I have the booklet of knowledge. I just need to work out how to cast the spells😳
