    I have been enjoying this thread very much but have been remiss at photographing anything much at all this year. Anyway, this Spurge Hawk Moth greeted me as I got up this morning and was crying out for the camera, so..

    Anyone know if this is a Dingy Skipper on my Verbena?

    @LunarSea It looks very moth like to me, plus I can't see any antenna clubs which most, if not all butterflies have.

    @wild edges will be the person to ask for an ID.

    It's a bit worn but looks like an Antler Moth.
