Bread and butter pudding is like that @Busy-Lizzie, especially when made with brioche and home-made marmalade.   Head chappy at the Lycée still raves about it.

Bright and sunny but windy and cold here.  OH has lit a fire in the dining room.  I have had a lazy morning while waiting for ibuprofen to kick in and sort the stupid knee.   Painting this pm tho once I've had my cuppa and then some parsley to put up and I'm going to have a go with some turmeric tubers I found at the Asian shop.

    Sorry about your cat @AnnaB.

Just a gentle whisper to that montana @Uff!

I put some marmalade in it @Obelixx, plenty of sultanas and some cinnamon and nutmeg.

Can't do sultanas in mine @Busy-Lizzie .  Possum thinks she doesn't like them.

I like that you say "Possum 'thinks' she doesn't like them". :D  She doesn't know what she's missing.

I know.  She'll eat them chopped up with butter, preserved stem ginger and sliced almonds in my medieval style stuffing for salmon in pastry  but won't eat them whole.   Daft.

Just spent a happy couple of hours sowing seeds in my greenhouse.  No place better to be whilst the rain is lashing down outside 🌨🌨🌨

Tomorrow the forecast is better so I’ll be pruning the apple trees and roses.

Those winter/early spring jobs are gradually getting ticked off the list 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  • A productive day, @chicky.
Where is everyone? I hope it's a case of having a chilling day, doing little, eating plenty of good food.
No  gardening for me, too wet really. I hope the weather during the week allows me to do some.
