    Hi all
Happy Valentine’s Day to those who celebrate it, I gave Moira a beautiful bunch of Tulips.
We have rain due all week, so I think it is time to start seed sowing in the g/h.
Anyone watching Chloe, I am finding it quite disturbing, but very watchable.
    Hugs for @Hostafan1

Morning all. Does the fruit taste like apples Pat?
Hope Hoatafan is feeling better today.
Off to do garden volunteer work today. Hope it's nice easy indoor work that involves a lot of sitting down.

Morning folks. I also watched Chloe, different, I like different! Hubby didn't,he's a Game the Thrones type,so he happily sits in the conservatory doing the crosswords
Lovely sunny day almost 13c,so beach soon with the dogs. Hubby gave me (another) orchid, big white flowers,I love them, they flower for months,in a posh grey pot to match the lounge, and a bottle of cava. Sorry about your cat Annie 🌺,my last one had to be put to sleep 2006, she was the loveliest cat I ever had. Putting up new wardrobes last week, and removed an old bureau, lots of photos of her and previous much loved cats and dogs. This is the longest I have ever been without a cat, hubby not keen, looked after my daughters,3 years ago, border collie was terrified of him,he kept me awake for hours at night. He is gorgeous, she asked if I would keep him. It wouldn't have worked.
  • @punkdoc OH agrees with you ... Chloe is very watchable ... but he says the writers seem to have missed some opportunities that he things would ramp it up a bit ...
    I wouldn't know .. I can't stay awake at that time of night  :/

I found a little box of champagne truffles with my wake-up coffee ... I'm a very lucky Dove  B)

Thanks Pat. I've never heard of them. Isn't it good to still be learning things?

  • Morning everyone,  used yesterday's rainy afternoon to finally get to grips with my new Walkman.  My very old ipod mini finally died a while ago , it  won't hold a charge for any useful time. I had to fire up my old laptop, upgrade to Windows 10,  which took about 4 hours.  Then download the Sony software. I did it this way because 1)the Sony software won't work on the chromebook 2) the old laptop has a CD drive,  and I mostly want to download music I already have,  the new iTunes won't let you do that anymore, so I have move away from Apple.

    Morning all ❤️

Woke up to roses 🌹 which was a very nice treat.  And the sun is shining, so the day will continue with more roses (but pruning this time), plus time to stand back and wonder what to prune out of my apple trees 🤔.

Will try and get out for a walk this afternoon- missed out yesterday due to the downpours.
  • Flaming oddballs ... hope my post on chitting pototoes will shut him up ... from time to time he appears on the food forum I'm on, plaguing us with the benefits of cooking with powdered eggs and spam (yes really) and telling us that in the UK we  know nothing of war-time recipes etc 🤯
