It's understandable, @Hostafan1 how your body is reacting to a very stressful time. I can't offer much, but a hug or two is there for you, to make you feel a teeny bit better.
A big thank you to all you wonderful folk who sent sympathy and kind thoughts about my cat. They do manage to leave a bit of a hole in one's life when they leave don't they. Her elderly aunt has been enjoying some extra 'fuss' time today which she seemed to appreciate, but they were never close so I don't think she is missing her very much. Not done much today apart from the essentials around the house and feeding the birds. Daughter went off in the pouring rain this morning with the quad and small trailer piled high with hay for the ponies across the fields. She looked like a drowned rat by the time she returned poor girl, but needs must. It looks as though we are all in for some really bad weather this coming week so once again batten down the hatches and keep safe and warm everyone. Hugs for Hosta, it is not surprising that you feel a bit down after the difficulties you have had lately. Take time to rest if possible and look after yourself. Sleep well everyone.
We’ve been for a wander down to the Nashi tree and discovered lots of fruit on the ground, much of it pecked by cockatoos, etc. I’ve picked up from the ground a large bag of the fruit that hasn’t been half demolished and brought it up to the house. I’m not doing anything about them yet, but might decide to stew most of them instead of trying to eat such a large amount. Still thinking about it. It’s very hot outside today, so I’m exhausted now.
Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Hugs to anyone who could do with one 🤗 😘 Damp and drizzly here, but the birds have been busy for some days … it’s beginning to feel a lot like spring 🌱 🌱 🌱
