Well done Biglad. That sounds like a marathon task. What fun you are going to have choosing lovely plants for your long border once the stumps have been removed. Is this a border that is out of the range of your Shauns that like to visit?
T'Bird, that is a real nightmare scenario. I am visualizing insurance claim forms here.
'A mouse ate my car'! Perhaps you could get a good rodent trap and carefully place it underneath your m/home when its parked up.
Glad you had a good night's sleep Ante. I think it might have had something to do with your most disliked day being over and done with for another week. I hope that you are spared the snow - especially as your beautiful almond blossom is out.

Was pretty quick @Ladybird4 because I cheated ;) I've just cut them down to ground level. Didn't bother with digging them out as I'm hoping that the tree stump man will do that when he removes the stumps.

I've got a patio full of plants in pots so it is just a case of trying to arrange them in a sensible fashion :o

  • Evening everyone, a washout here too today,
LB That plant looks really lovely hanging in your window, sorry to hear your cold is not letting go hopefully it’ll be on its way soon,
Biglad Nice to have some planting opportunities coming,
Topbird Not the news you wanted for  the motor home, quite concerning to hear of 3 others that it’s happened to, I hope things all work out in the end. The picture frame filled with succulents is very clever, it looks so attractive.
Ante Glad you had a better nights sleep, Max will be pleased to see the snow ❄️ Shame if it stops your plans.
Signing out early, have a nice evening everyone.

LB, I'm quite happy that Monday is over. Rest of the week is always better. Snow and wind will be indeed a disaster for all fruits in bloom.

Chive, Max would enjoy, but I'll not. Now, I just want to work outside.

Tea and late dinner are now on schedule.

Biglad, I think T'Birds suggestion and your ideas are bob on as to placing the pots and seeing if they look good before you plant them out. Very exciting project for later in the Spring.
Ruby, I am so sorry to hear about Bruno. Poor old chap. I'm sure that he will recover quickly - cats are good at that. I am signing out too. I've watched enough mad young things throwing themselves down icy slopes only to be catapulted off ramps to ridiculous heights where they spin and turn like feathers in the wind. The definitive word for this Olympics so far is:

  • LB sorry your still feeling under the weather I hope you soon feel better.  The plant and macrame holder look good in the window.  Top bird I hope they don’t make any more discoveries with mh and it can be resolved.  I was laid on the bed with a throw over me Tuesday with a migraine all day.  Left with a dull ache now but I’ve made myself a cuppa and topped up Alfie’s food and eventually had something to eat.  Ante the skiing has been great.  I’ve also enjoyed the snowboarding.

A very good morning Ante, RosieBB and all who arrive later. Ante, I'm really enjoying the Olympics. One sport I find hard to follow though is ice hockey because I can never see where the puck is
Sorry RosieBB that you have the remains of a migraine.I hope it fades away completely today. Snowboarding is beautiful to watch isn't it? My knees groan in sympathy on the landings though

  • Morning @Ladybird4 @bluebellsintherain and all to follow.
So sorry you had a migraine all day, do hope you feel better soon.
@Ladybird4 lovely photo of your hanging plant.
Raining again this morning. Absolutely poured yesterday and during night. Quite windy too.
Wednesday again, pilates day for OH. Think I'll be doing a few unmentionables, definitely staying in today.
Time for a cup of tea ☕☕
